REDMOND O’NEAL STILL CAN’T DO ANYTHING RIGHT

He’s about to turn 25 and it seems Redmond O’Neal has spent most of his life in rehab or jail. Having drug-oriented parents DOES make a difference, it seems. During his current six month stint at Impact rehab, Redmond took his first 24 hour pass and went right out to do drugs. Ironically, or not, his father Ryan has been visiting him on a weekly basis. Now Redmond has been locked up again and charged with violating probation, which could get him six years in prison. If his mother’s tragic death didn’t inspire this guy to clean up his act, we can’t imagine what WILL.

Phil Spector suffered the ultimate humiliation when he was checked into the Twin Towers prison in LA – his wig was confiscated. Spector seems to have been wearing wigs for much of his life and is never seen without one. He nonchalantly even chose to wear several different styles and colors to his two trials. It wasn’t until Lyle Menendez was forced to give up his wig that we realized that hairpieces were considered contraband in prison. We wonder if the wig will be returned to him so he can wear it to court for his sentencing. Come to think of it…those TEETH look rather fake too.

Uh oh! Blaaake got out of jail today and Amy’s looking like a mess! Luckily, he went straight to rehab with no stops at home. Coincidentally, Amy happened to be leaving a drug and alcohol center at the same time Blake was on his way to one – we’re hoping she heads straight to a beauty salon. It’s a bit terrifying to think that these two will soon be on the streets together.

LANE GARRISON IS FEEDING HIS FELLOW PRISONERS

Prison Break’s Lane Garrison just got sort of a break in prison. He acquired a job. Due to his exemplary behavior, Lane has been promoted to food helper. He spends his days preparing meals and he also helps the guards hand out breakfast, lunch, and dinner to the inmates. For this he gets paid 9 cents an hour – and it goes straight to his savings account. Not much for a TV star, but he’s happy.

Interesting how Paris Hilton has been preparing herself for incarceration: she’s been eating large portions of frozen yogurt or ice cream art least once every day. With toppings galore and no regard for calories. Is she figuring this is what she’ll be yearning for most when she’s behind bars so she’d better get her fill NOW? Or is she fattening herself up because she probably won’t want to eat the food she’s given? We wonder how much money she’ll get for the daily diary she’s sure to write while she’s in jail. And we wonder what will happen to her hair extensions. Three weeks without air conditioning or bathroom privacy is enough to scare US straight.
