IS JARED LETO THE WORST DRESSED MAN IN THE WORLD?

30 Seconds to Mars singer Jared Leto wears skirts as often as he wears pants – sometimes both at once. He’s been called a maximalist (the opposite of a minimalist) because he creatively layers in unexpected combinations – often reminiscent of the better dressed homeless. GQ magazine has laughingly labeled him The Worst Dressed Man in the World but we are amused by his combination of designer Gucci and thrift store attire. (Gucci is also amused – they sponsor his tours.) We like the mixed plaid, but we can live without that Jesus hair and beard.

Jared Leto has mastered the art of taking an extremely good looking man (himself) and by dressing in a clownish manner and growing a face full of hair, turn himself into an undesirable – possibly repellent character. INCHES from appearing homeless, the handsome Leto now causes women to keep their distance. Another way to make himself less desirable is to hang out and be seen with pervelicious fashion photographer Terry Richardson.

JARED LETO UNDERCOVER – NOT HIS BEST FASHION MOMENT

We’re not sure if Jared Leto is wearing this crazy outfit to fool and repel fans or he piled on the layers so his suitcase wouldn’t be so heavy. Either way he succeeded – we would NEVER have recognized him at LAX – he only has around eight square inches of skin showing. We have to congratulate the eagle-eyed paparazzi who actually spotted him.

JARED LETO’S PINK PANTS ARE NO JOKE!

Jared Leto,44, playing The Joker might be the only reason we could be dragged to see Suicide Squad. You can always expect creativity from him. It appears he’s been heavily influenced by his Joker character because he’s wearing a rather peculiar outfit at the London premier. The green double breasted coat seems a bit heavy for summer and the pink pants are a sweet surprise. Jared’s style is never boring. Perhaps most surprising of all: the Gucci loafers!

JARED LETO CAN NO LONGER WHIP HIS HAIR

Those people who were complaining about Jared Leto’s long Jesus-like hair got their wish – and then some. Not only did Jared chop most of his hair off, but he bleached it AND his eyebrows platinum blonde for his DC Comics movie Suicide Squad. It gives him a Hitler Youth or futuristic outer space look, but its also kind of asexual.

Jared Leto Military Real Estate

JARED LETO JUST BOUGHT HIS OWN MILITARY COMPOUND

Jared Leto just paid 5 million dollars for what used to be a military compound in the Hollywood Hills! Included are 50,000 sq ft of living space with 8 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. It was built in Laurel Canyon in the early 1940’s and later used as a military film studio. Compared to neighboring properties the compound looks grey and stark and free of frills or rolling lawns. But plenty of parking. Maybe Jared will turn it into a recording studio for his band – or maybe something completely unexpected. He still has a house in the hills that he’s lived in since 2006.

ALEXIS ARQUETTE SAYS “I HAD SEX WITH JARED LETO!”

This might be a big surprise for Jared Leto’s fans, but transgender Alexis Arquette spilled some interesting beans in an interview with Jackie Beat. Alexis lives as a woman now, but she confessed that back when she was a boy, she had sex with Jared Leto! (Coincidentally or not, Jared won an Oscar for playing a transgender character in “Dallas Buyers Club.”) Alexis is famously outspoken and perhaps she felt a pang of regret because she went on to rave about Jared’s physical equipment. We can’t wait to hear what Jared has to say about this.

JARED LETO: YOUR POLITICAL COMMENTS ARE BEING NOTICED! – IN A GOOD WAY

Who knew that Jared Leto would turn out to be a hero in the Ukraine? This year at the Oscars, Jared gave a shout-out of encouragement to the Ukraine, which had just begun recovering from a violent revolution. LA Times entertainment reporter Steven Zeitchik visited the Ukraine recently and was surprised by how many people there wanted to talk about Jared Leto’s opinion of their political situation. His comments were noticed and very appreciated. And they REALLY liked him when his band did not cancel a concert in Kiev, like many others had. The reporter was frankly shocked to realize that so many Eastern Europeans valued celebrity opinions and even found them encouraging. Note to celebrities: THINK before you speak – or twitter.

WHATEVER YOU DO, DON’T TOUCH JARED LETO!

Jared Leto’s role as a transgender AIDS victim in Dallas Buyers Club has brought him numerous acting nominations and he’s been a regular on red carpets and at film festivals for the past months. Calculate all those black tie events plus his performances with his band Thirty Seconds to Mars and it adds up to one exhausted guy. He has 13 European concert dates before the Oscars. That’s why he stopped shaking hands. He has NO time to get sick, so Jared’s not taking chances with unnecessary touching, observed the Hollywood Reporter.
