Sylvester Stallone is just finishing up his movie “The Expendables” which he wrote, directs, and stars in. (Consequently, you can expect many shots of his ripped torso.) Above, Mickey Rourke is tattooing Sly in a still from the movie. As we told you, the story is about a secret plot by several nations to overthrow a dangerous South American dictator. The best mercenaries from around the world are hired to do the deed and they are played by tough guys Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, and Jet Li, among others. Bruce Willis is also in the film and Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is supposedly making a surprise appearance. It’s an 80’s style action extravaganza!

Whenever “Transporter” star Jason Statham and his girlfriend Alex Zosman make an appearance together, his fans seem to create a big stir. Some of Statham’s followers apparently don’t like Alex and they criticize her appearance and claim all sorts of questionable things about her past. They don’t like her and think she’s not good enough for Jason. Other fans disagree and think they make a perfectly nice couple. Why Alex incites these feelings we don’t know, but Jason seems happy – they’ve been together for around a year.

Sylvester Stallone is all pumped up and ready to start filming “The Expendables” which he wrote, will star in, and direct. It’s about an international team of mercenaries whose secret mission is to assassinate an evil South American dictator. And what a cast: besides Stallone, there’s Dolph Lundgren, Jet Li, Mickey Rourke, Jason Statham, Eric Roberts, and possibly Arnold Schwarzenegger and 50 Cent. It sounds like those “Dirty Dozen”/”Magnificent Seven” movies from the 60’s.

Jason Statham always checks out his $100,000 Audi after he leaves it parked in a public place. And he has a good reason. For awhile he was bitterly feuding with Justin Murdock, heir to the Dole Foods fortune, and both are car freaks, worried that their expensive toys will be “scratched.” The fight started over an underage model in a bar – Justin brags that money is more appealing to women than fame. The confrontation led to weeks of threats, a keyed car, and both guys used to call ahead to clubs to make sure the other wasn’t there. Eventually they cooled off and neither one got the girl.

It’s not often that you see TWO of those hard boiled sexy English gangsters from Guy Ritchie’s “Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels” and “Snatch.” But apparently Jason Statham and Vinnie Jones are friends in real life. They had lunch at Cafe Med and joked with paparazzi about doing a gay movie together. We think they both look better with shaved heads.

Are English actors more faithful to their girlfriends? They don’t seem to play around as much as American actors. Or they just don’t get caught. Transporter star Jason Statham has been steadily dating Alex Zosman for awhile now – they’ve gone on several vacations together. Statham was accused of going out with George Clooney’s ex Sarah Larson not long ago, but he vehemently denied it. He said they were simply seen sitting at the same table with a number of other people in Las Vegas.

Jason (The Transporter) Statham showed up at the Pink Taco opening in Century City with a cute female companion. We like him better when he shaves his head, but he’s still hot. Partygoers Jessica Alba and Cash Warren, Jake Hoffman, Kevin Connelly, Kimberly and Sean Stewart, etc enjoyed the open bar, but everybody was looking for something spicy to nibble on. Either the food was gone very early or there wasn’t any, so when the fire marshals arrived many people left in search of sustenance.
