JEAN-CLAUDE VAN DAMME STILL HAS THE MOVES

People do funny things when they see paparazzi at the airport. John-Claude Van Damme doesn’t run for cover – he does a karate kick! In fact he did a whole series of moves – much to the amusement of passers-by. He seems to have cleaned up his act – back in the early 90’s we often wrote about his peculiar behavior in Star Magazine. He frequented a Brentwood drugstore with his questionable prescriptions in those days, and once he was ordered to leave the store for having extremely noisy sex in the bathroom with an unidentified woman! Quite a crowd had gathered listening and laughing outside the bathroom when he was unceremoniously ejected. With customers staring, the embarrassed pair did a walk of shame out the front door.

Martial artist/actor Jean Claude Van Damme, 56, was a wild man in the 90’s. Not only was he a womanizer, but he had a massive drug habit and battled bi-polar disorder. We heard loads of drug stories from a Brentwood pharmacy he frequented in all kinds of moods. Nowadays he’s a DAD. Jean Claude took his daughter Bianca, 26, to lunch at Mauro’s Café. She’s his daughter with bodybuilder Gladys Portugues, whom Van Damme married twice. He looks really harmless today in bifocals, carrying a purse….

JEAN CLAUDE VAN DAMME IS SORRY HE TURNED DOWN “THE EXPENDABLES”

Sylvester Stallone is riding high this week after his movie The Expendables cleaned up at the boxoffice. One guy not totally thrilled with Sly’s success is Jean-Claude Van Damme. Early on, Sly had invited Jean-Claude to join the cast but wouldn’t tell him much about the movie except it had lots of action, humor, and he thought it would be fun if Van Damme’s character would lose in a fight with Jet-Li. Van Damme didn’t see the humor in THAT, and passed on the movie. After it opened, Sly called Jean-Claude and smirked “I told you so.” Sly is already working on a sequal and plans on giving Van Damme another chance – if he loosens up.

Cannes Jean-Claude Van Damme Reality Shows

JEAN-CLAUDE VAN DAMME IS MAKING A COMEBACK AT CANNES

Jean Claude Van-Damme arrived in Cannes with his wife, former bodybuilder Gladys Portugues, to promote his new reality series in the UK. The 49 year old actor describes this show as “a cross between The Osbournes and Bloodsport.”
It’ll feature his family at home and Jean-Claude training for a kickboxing fight with a 36 year old Thai champion. The series will culminate with the actual fight in Las Vegas. Jean–Claude seems to have calmed down since his wild and drug fueled days with his then wife Darcy LaPier in the 90’s, He divorced Darcy, was treated for bi-polar disorder, and remarried his second wife Gladys. Now he’s back.

JEAN-CLAUDE VAN DAMME PRODUCED CUTE KIDS

We haven’t seen Jean-Claude Van Damme in a long time but we have loads of entertaining memories of his antics. Above he is on his best behavior with his kids Kristopher and Bianca – he’s still married to his beautiful long suffering wife Gladys Portugues, who used to be a top female bodybuilder. We remember years back when bad boy Jean-Claude locked himself and an earlier wife in the bathroom at a Brentwood pharmacy. They had extremely loud sex and all the people waiting in line for their prescriptions were appalled. Gladys was probably the best thing that ever happened to him.
