Since this website was born seven years ago, we have been telling readers that Angelina Jolie did NOT break up Brad Pitt’s marriage to Jennifer Aniston. The truth is, Jennifer grew unhappy because Brad was a bore – he sat on the couch all day and did nothing but smoke weed. He lost his mojo. Soon they both acknowledged their lack of happiness and Jennifer asked for a divorce. Brad’s “Mr and Mrs Smith” costar Angelina was thrilled her hear about the split and gave Brad a shoulder to lean on. Brad did not take up with Angelina until his marriage was over. Jen and Brad’s friend Sheryl Crowe clarified the situation “Jennifer broke up with Brad, and NOT because of Angelina.” Brad’s recent interview backs up what we have always said. He totally blamed himself for the demise of the marriage because he became “dull,” and praised Jennifer as a “giving, loving and hilarious woman.” Brad is not a cheater.

Staffers at the restaurant like Jennifer so much they named a drink after her. Back when she was single she brought various guys there including John Mayer. Now that Jennifer frequents the place with her boyfriend Justin Theroux, there might be a few people she’d rather not run into, and she doesn’t. The restaurant host discreetly tips her off about who’s there before she arrives so she can adjust her plans accordingly.

BRAD PITT HAS A THING FOR MARBLE BATHTUBS

Brad Pitt has long been obsessed with architecture and design, and he jumped at the chance to create his own line of modern furniture. Brad commissioned high-end furniture maker Frank Pollaro to make some things for his own home and they struck up a friendship. Frank saw Brad’s collection or sketches and suggested he create his own collection. Together they built around a dozen of Brad’s pieces to show in conjunction with Frank’s Art deco inspired furnishings on November 13 in New York. The prices will be high, but Brad points out that the designs might be recreated in more affordable materials in the future. Here’s a fun fact: Brad had an artisan working in his LA garage for many months creating a special had carved marble tub for his then wife Jennifer Aniston.

We’re not surprised that Jennifer Aniston isn’t thrusting her new engagement ring in paparazzi faces. It seems we’ve gotten accustomed to shallow celebrities who only feel worthy if they have a gigantic ring bigger than anyone else’s to prove their superiority. It’s a vulgar display of one-up-manship when the real issue should be love and happiness. Of course, Kim Kardashian and her exaggerated million dollar ring is a prime example of that type of vanity. Look how long her showy marriage lasted. Jennifer doesn’t need her ego inflated with a jumbo ring. She’s happy with her man, Justin Theroux, and whatever he gave her. It was just announced by People magazine that Jennifer Aniston is now engaged to Justin Theroux (we’re VERY happy for both of them!) but how embarrassing for Star Magazine! Their cover this week has Jennifer BREAKING UP with Justin in July after “catching him with another woman.” THIS is what happens when magazines stop paying reliable sources for information. We worked for Star for years and they took good care of inside sources. But all that changed. Editors stopped paying for inside information and great scoops. This kind of cover happens when insiders refuse to talk for free and stories and dramatic cover stories have to be MADE UP by reporters.

JUSTIN THEROUX GETS THE JOB DONE

Justin Theroux is not too cool to shop. He ran some errands in NYC where he and his bi-coastal girlfriend Jennifer Aniston have a place, and ended up carrying multiple shopping bags, including groceries. Justin is currently wrestling with the final script for Zoolander 2, which he will also direct. He’s co-writing with leading man Ben Stiller, and Owen Wilson and Will Ferrell are confirmed to reprise their roles. Everybody’s ready to go as soon as the script is perfected.

Jennifer Aniston’s boyfriend Justin Theroux is one of the writers of the “Rock of Ages” movie (it was adapted from the stage play) and they attended the premier last Friday. Right after that, they jumped on a flight to Paris and were seen hand in hand sightseeing today. Did Justin leave town to avoid reading reviews of the movie? “Rock of Ages” is being promoted endlessly – can this musical live up to obvious expectations? It remains to be seen whether we can tolerate exuberant Tom Cruise as an ageing rock star.

Life & Style magazine is still desperately trying to make Jennifer Aniston pregnant – they must have had at least a dozen covers claiming that over the past few years. This one got right to the point with “how she’s hiding her bump.” Not only is she “hiding her bump” in tight dresses, but she’s drinking like a fish. Jen was at the Chateau Marmont with Justin Theroux last Sunday and Monday night quite happily downing one vodka on the rocks after another. Will the next issue of Life & Style accuse her of trying to kill her imagined “baby” with fetal alcohol syndrome?
