We’re worried about Jennifer Aniston. Since that health report came out confirming that sunbeds are carcinogenic and considered as dangerous as cigarettes and asbestos, we wonder if Jen will cut back on her constant tanning. It is, after all, the secret to her photogenic tawny complexion. Jennifer has two expensive tanning beds of her own and she tans for filming and all important publicity events. Yes, she is addicted. Just like many celebrities, including Jennifer Lopez and a large number of men. The same people who consider themselves health nuts and wouldn’t THINK of eating a non-organic peach still bake in tanning beds!

Jennifer Lopez did a darn good job of NOT looking traumatized by the arrival of her 40th birthday. Having multiple parties helped her get through the difficult week. (Her best outfit is featured above.) Her first one was on the set of her movie “The Back-Up Plan.” Her husband Marc Anthony arranged two other parties and the celebration at New York’s Hotel Griffou was noteworthy because the guests all had to hand over their cell phones and cameras at the door. (Celebrities DON’T like to be told what to do.) Madonna, Beyonce, Rihanna, and many others all fussed, but eventually complied. They WEREN’T happy. Sounds like some magazine bought exclusive rights. Jennifer Lopez looks adorable on the set of her new movie “The Back-up Plan.” She plays a woman who tires of searching for Mr Right and conceives twins through artificial insemination, but happens to meet the man of her dreams that same day. Her costar is NOT Gerard Butler, but a guy named Alex O’Loughlin. We can’t help zeroing in on her hair. Since we learned that Jennifer wears wigs most of the time (and in fact has a whole room full of them) we immediately try to figure out whether this hair is real or fake. We’re thinking fake. Ever since Star wrote about Jennifer Lopez having an entire room devoted to her wig collection (just like Cher,) we’ve been looking more closely at her photos to figure out which hairstyles are wigs. The long wavy hair with bangs look that we’ve seen so often lately is obviously not her real hair. She really had us fooled.

Nobody cheered louder than Jennifer Lopez when her husband Marc Anthony performed Thursday night at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, Florida. Jennifer returned from her stint in Japan promoting handbags and she looks amazingly fresh and pretty at the LA airport for someone who just got off an eighteen hour flight! “Hey, J.Lo – did you forget where you came from?” That’s what some frozen ballerinas are asking after working on her new video “I’m Glad.” Lopez’s people hired 15 ballerinas to appear en pointe in the all night shoot for the paltry salary of $150. The skinny girls in pink tights were badly treated – they had to stand outside in the cold all night in downtown LA, until they were herded into an unheated basement with cockroaches. After 7 miserable hours the dancers felt cheated. They told me that former Fly Girl Jennifer started as a dancer herself and ought to treat them better. Behind her back, J.Lo’s tour dancers call hers the “Pay-Low” tour.

Celebrity designers Gwen Stefani and Jennifer Lopez were neck and neck for awhile, – both taking in over 200 million for their women’s clothing lines. Now, according to Laurie Pike in Los Angeles magazine, Gwen’s lines are earning 20% more each year, while Jennifer’s JLO lines are faltering. Gwen’s lines L.A.M.B. and Harajuku Lovers are sold everywhere in upscale boutiques, while Jennifer’s designs only sell well out of the country. Part of the reason is Gwen is still very involved in her business and consistently wears her own designs. Jennifer USED to promote her track suits by wearing them to The Ivy, but she stopped before she got married. Watch out Jen – when celebrities lose interest in their own fashions, the customers lose interest also.

Marc Anthony is the picture of chivalry here and we bet Jennifer Lopez has him jumping through hoops now that she’s pregnant. She CAN be very demanding. Recently we encountered a sound technician who was working on a Price Line commercial with William Shatner. He told us that Shatner was a delight to work with – he arrived on time, dressed and camera ready, and he knew all his lines. We asked the technician who was the WORST celebrity he worked with and he said “Hands down – Jennifer Lopez.” He said he worked on a music video with Jen and “She kept hundreds of people waiting around for hours on end.” He recalled that she stayed in her trailer and claimed she wasn’t feeling well and sent for five different kinds of doctors and therapists help her voice, massage her feet and hands etc. By the time she unapologetically appeared to work, her coworkers were DRAINED and freezing cold from standing around so long. We’re thinking that being pregnant with twins just might make Jennifer a tad difficult to live with.

Shhhh……try to keep this quiet, but…..you’d think giving birth to twins might be just a little scary for a first time mother. However, Jennifer Lopez has no qualms – she’s decided to make it a “silent birth” like her friend Katie Holmes. Actually it was her OTHER Scientology friend, Leah Remini, (The King of Queens) who talked Jen into it. During this Scientology birthing method, the mother and doctor or whoever is present are expected to communicate without words. Preferably without painkillers or drugs. Now THAT sounds like a challenge for Jennifer, who has always been quick to make her feelings known.

We have to assume there were doctors and fertilization techniques involved in this pregnancy and that greatly increases the possibility of multiple births. We hope they all look like their mom.
