It’s been five years, and through thick and thin, Valerie Bertinelli and her boyfriend Tom Vitale are still together. When she joined Jenny Craig and lost weight, Tom did too, so they stayed on the same wave length. Recently they went out to dinner at Osteria Mozza where they enjoyed dinner but were careful about what they consumed. Outside while they were waiting for their car, the couple was seen hugging and smooching like teenagers in the alley.

Last year Kirstie Alley parted company with Jenny Craig after a three year relationship. The National Enquirer declared she was dumped for being too fat, but Kirstie insisted she left because she wanted to start her OWN weight loss program. Kirstie’s diet plan might as well be called the Taco Bell Weight Loss Program, judging by these recent photos. She was photographed picking up a to go order of food at Dusty’s in Silver Lake.

We can’t help but laugh at the lengths security guards are going to in order to keep cameras away from Queen Latifah as she leaves Hyde. Why is she causing such a fuss? Is it because she obviously isn’t wearing any of the Cover Girl makeup she sells on TV? Is she trying to conceal the fact that her weight isn’t an ideal example for Jenny Craig? Being a spokesperson can be a burden on a celebrity – except when the check arrives.

Judging by this photo of Queen Latifah leaving the Crustacean restaurant in Beverly Hills, Jenny Craig might be in for a fright. Latifah looks like she fell off her diet in a big way – of course it might just be the awkward angle of the camera. Let’s hope so. Poor Jenny doesn’t need another Kirstie Alley. Keep in mind that when Latifah signed up with Jenny Craig, she KNEW her weight would be watched!

Rosie O’Donnell is talking to Jenny Craig. She’s been carefully considering her career moves after her successful departure from The View, and realizes she has a reputation for being confrontational. She wants to maintain her popularity and soften her image a bit, and Jenny Craig could help. Kirstie Alley and Valerie Bertinelli have benefited from Jenny Craig deals, and it seems there’s nothing the public likes better than to watch a celebrity battle with her weight. For career reasons, Rosie would like to be less controversial and more likeable, and working with Jenny could be the solution. PLUS, she’d get rid of some unwanted pounds.
