GUESS WHICH ONE IS THE REAL WOMAN!

The Eyes of Tammy Faye had a festive premier in New York. The REAL Tammy Faye Bakker, who died in 2007, would have been delighted that beautiful Jessica Chastain played her in the HBO Max film. This movie is based on the 2000 documentary of the same name produced by Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato. Tammy herself appeared in the documentary. It’s hard to imagine Jessica as 4’11” Tammy Faye – she’s considerably taller, slimmer, and doesn’t have that high baby-talk voice. Tammy was most noted for her spidery fake eyelashes and her ability to burst into tears with runny black mascara – especially when her evangelical husband Jim Bakker, disappointed her. To her credit, Tammy divorced Jim Bakker (he went to prison) and she WAS accepting of the LGBT community and helped AIDS patients.

Newlywed Jessica Chastain recently complained in an interview that after she appears on a red carpet, her publicist often gets calls asking if she is pregnant. She’s not, and Jessica assumed her “bad posture” made her look pregnant. Hello Jessica – it’s NOT the way you stand – it’s the awful, unflattering outfits you are given to wear! This big white pants outfit with the black sash adds 40 pounds and gives beautiful Jessica the shape of a refrigerator. Jessica is currently in New York promoting her new movie Woman Walks Ahead in an assortment of unworthy apparel.

JESSICA CHASTAIN: CALIFORNIA GIRL DOES THE RIGHT THING

We are SO proud of Jessica Chastain’s contribution to the women’s movement. Octavia Spencer revealed at a Sundance panel that Jessica fought to get her equal pay. Jessica and Octavia were planning to do a comedy together and Jessica didn’t realize that women of color had an even harder time negotiating equal pay. Jessica re-negotiated her deal AS A PAIR with Octavia and they were paid more money as a unit. Octavia got 5 times as much money as she originally asked for. Most Important: Jessica said “MEN SHOULD BE DOING THIS WITH FEMALE COSTARS!” Great idea! Did you hear that, Mark Wahlberg?

Weinstein told Felicity Huffman if she didn’t wear a Marchesa dress to the premier of her movie Transamerica, her career would be OVER. JESSICA CHASTAIN AND THE LOVE OF HER LIFE

Jessica Chastain is in Paris and that means her adorable three-legged rescue dog Chaplain is there too. She doesn’t go anywhere without him. Jessica adopted Chaplain after he was hit by a car and she says he has no trouble hopping around. Jessica is starring in “A Most Violent Year” and she says that Chaplain is “The love of my life!” Presumably that means she doesn’t have a boyfriend right now because if she does, he might be irked.

She’s starred in some of the biggest and best recent films – among them, Zero Dark Thirty, The Help, Take Shelter, The Tree of Life etc. In fact, she has appeared in 13 movies since 2011 and had oodles of award nominations and wins. Suddenly her early movies are all over TV too. It’s going to be a tight race for Best Actress at the Oscars this year. Meanwhile, California born Jessica looks relaxed and adorable in her red coat in New York, above.
