JOAN COLLINS WILL CELEBRATE TURNING 90 BY POSING NUDE!

Age defying Joan Collins is turning 90 next month (May 2023) and she has BIG plans to mark the milestone by posing NUDE! The last time Joan posed au naturel was in 1983 when she celebrated her 50th birthday by posing for Playboy. This time around, Joan’s not posing for a magazine, but for her husband Percy. A friend reveals Joan is as fit and fabulous as ever so she plans on showing off her remarkable figure with a nude spread. She’s already hired a female photographer to capture the tasteful yet sexy photos, and told Percy he can publish them if he so chooses. Will he or won’t he?

SIMON COWELL NIXED BLACK TIE FOR DECOLLETE

It takes all kinds. Joan Collins (age 88 – can you believe it?) had an elegant black tie party at Claridge’s Hotel in London to celebrate her 20th wedding anniversary with Percy Gibson. Among the guests were Elizabeth Hurley and her customary date, her 19 year old son Damian Hurley. Damian wore his long hair back in a ponytail with his tuxedo, and his mother wore a sexy gown as usual. He has quite a modeling career going these days – too bad he has no time for college. Simon Cowell and his fiancee Lauren Silverman were also at the event – all the other men wore tuxes, but Simon is accustomed to showing off his irresistible chest – and ignored the formal invitation.

LADY GAGA OR JOAN COLLINS?

Yep, it’s Lady Gaga doing her best imitation of Joan Collins walking out of Craigs Restaurant in LA. Actually, Gaga is leaving the Plaza Hotel in New York and we figured out WHY she’s dressed this way. She is obviously going to rehearsal for the MTV Unplugged show she’s taping Friday with Tony Bennett! (This is a look he can identify with) It’s Tony’s first appearance since he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, but apparently it has not affected his work. No one knows exactly when the performance will appear on TV yet…

WE CAN ADD A LITTLE “DYNASTY” TO OUR DRAB WORLD

Die-hard Dynasty fans (you know who you are) are in for a pandemic treat on Zoom and everyone around the world can join in! The theme of the virtual cast reunion is to “celebrate the influence of Dynasty on pop culture.” Emma Samms (she replaced Pamela Sue Martin as Fallon Carrington on the show) organized the reunion – the first big one since the show went off the air in 1989. Some of the actors haven’t seen each other since the show ended. We’re told almost EVERY main character still ALIVE is participating. Nolan Miller’s fashions will be prominently featured and discussed. Al Corley and Jack Coleman, who both played the role of gay Steven Carrington (before and after plastic surgery-) will be there too. Linda Evans is very excited about it and EVERYONE is counting on Joan Collins to participate. (We bet she will – isn’t she the most successful cast member?) Heather Locklear volunteered to reminisce about her time on the show. The event is for a good cause: Emma Samms put it together to raise money for long covid research. She caught covid a year ago and has been suffering the long term effects ever since. A hospital in England is researching long covid and the Dynasty reunion will raise money for the hospital.

JOAN COLLINS: “AGE IS JUST A NUMBER”

Dynasty star Joan Collins never disappoints. She turned up festively attired (with a velvet bejeweled mask) to cut the ribbon for the switching on of the Christmas lights at Burlington Arcade in London. She may be 87, but Joan has no plans to retire. She just returned to work filming a TV series called Glow and Darkness with Jane Seymour and Denise Richards. It’s set in medieval times (the 1200’s) and Joan plays the Queen of France. We’re betting it’s mostly about men (emperors, kings, saints, whatever) fighting as usual, but the women may liven it up. However, we cannot imagine Joan playing an authentic character without her usual makeup!

THREE QUEENS IS TWO QUEENS TOO MANY

Here’s something you don’t see very often – three actresses keeping their distance and promoting their project while wearing masks! (They are either socially conscious or just don’t like each other) Joan Collins, 87, Jane Seymour, 69, and Denise Richards, 49, are all playing historically significant queens in a dramatic TV series set in medieval France called Glow and Darkness. Keep in mind, the middle ages were not pleasant times for women in general – queens at least had lush wardrobes. We saw a photo of the women in costume and their makeup looked very modern and out of place. Hopefully, the actual production pays attention to detail.

Dynasty Ikea Joan Collins Mask

PICTURE ALEXIS CARRINGTON SHOPPING AT IKEA

Can you imagine Dynasty star Joan Collins eating Ikea’s Swedish meatballs? When she posted this photo on Instagram, Joan confessed that she had been scolded by a security guard when when was reading the menu at an Ikea restaurant in France. She was wearing a plastic face shield instead of a mask and was told that a mask was essential. She was obviously miffed, but pulled on a mask under the shield. We are totally amused at the idea of Joan Collins eating in the discount cafeteria at Ikea! Currently, the still playful Joan (who is now an unbelievable 87) is stylishly isolating with her 55 year old husband Percy in St Tropez.

IT TURNS OUT ALEXIS CARRINGTON AND SUE ELLEN EWING ARE FRIENDS!

Dynasty diva Joan Collins (Alexis) and Dallas diva Linda Gray (Sue Ellen) actually had dinner together last night at Craig’s. Back in the day these women were highly competitive. The 80’s soap stars are currently both enjoying a resurgence of roles for mature women in Hollywood, thanks to cable. Linda is appearing for the second season on a soap called Hilton Head Island and Joan does occasional guest spots on shows like American Horror Story and Hawaii Five-O. Of course, Joan is always working on a book of some kind- she’s churned out 18 publications already.

JOAN COLLINS: THIS IS WHAT 84 LOOKS LIKE IN HOLLYWOOD

Looking glamorous as ever, Joan Collins, 84, and her husband of fifteen years, Percy Gibson, 52, turned up at Craig’s restaurant for dinner. The Dynasty star no longer has a TV series but she and Percy love to get dressed up and have a good time in Hollywood. She does keep busy writing books – well over a dozen at last count – both fiction and non-fiction. Joan credits her good health and looks to avoiding the sun and eating oily fish like salmon (Omega-3) twice a week. Also, she picked the right husband after getting it wrong four times in the past.
