Joe Jonas, looking bookish and low-key, had lunch at the Figaro Cafe on Vermont in Silverlake, and afterward he and a friend went to Y-Que Trading Post, the famous t-shirt store down the street. Joe examined a “Frankie Say Relax” shirt , he looked at “I Hate The Environment” and “Free Roman Polanski” but what he ended up buying was a shirt that said “Never Forget PLUTO” featuring ink that glows in the dark. (Pluto, you will recall, has been downgraded from a planet to a number.)

David Beckham could be a little exasperated by the news that his sons Brooklyn, 9, Romeo, 6, and Cruz, 3, might NOT be so interested in playing soccer, after all. What they REALLY want is a career like the Jonas Brothers! The Jonas Brothers are currently fighting off the girls in London where their movie Camp Rock just opened. Kevin Jonas told a reporter that he met the Beckham brothers at the Teen Choice Awards and they told him they want to follow in the Jonas Brothers footsteps and sing and dance just like they do.

Kevin Jonas is putting on a bit of an Elvis face in this picture taken in New York where he’s filming “Untitled 3D Project” with his brothers. It’s a 3D concert film and also a documentary of the Jonas Brothers private lives. Sort of like Madonna’s “Truth or Dare.” What dressing up as a hot dog vendor has to do with anything remains to be seen.

You get a lot for $2,895,000 in Texas. The Jonas brothers bought this 7360 square foot compound on a golf course with no neighbors in sight. The catch is: IT’S IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE! A lovely place to retire, but why would three energetic teenage boys want to live there? It’s 35 miles of unlit roads to Dallas where there might be something to do. These guys have long outgrown the ‘burbs. We bet the place will be back on the market in two years.

CAMP ROCK KIDS STORM THE ROXY ON SUNSET

Disney showcased their insanely popular Camp Rock star Demi Lovato Friday night at The Roxy on Sunset and when her costarring Jonas brothers slipped in the side door the club broke out in shrieks. After the show, the Disney kids including Selena Gomez, along with their mothers, handlers, and bodyguards, went upstairs to party at the private club On The Rox. Our spies reported absolutely no bad behavior. Not one of the underage Disney kids got rowdy or tried to cadge drinks. “They were totally polite.” The Jonas brothers wanted to stay and watch Nas perform later, but their people hustled them out of the club.

Disney certainly seems to know what tweens like – first Miley Cyrus and now the uberhot Jonas Brothers. One thing this pop group of brothers from New Jersey definitely has in abundance is style. Kevin, Joe, and Nick are never boring to look at. We appreciate their sartorial efforts but have one teensy bit of criticism to offer- the clothes and footwear look too spanking BRAND NEW – a slightly beat up or distressed look is hipper and more natural.
