Jude Law And his cute son Rafferty,13, were spotted in New York where Jude is appearing very successfully in “Hamlet” on Broadway. Jude’s three children with Sadie Frost have been visiting dad from London and Jude spends his days before he reports to the theater, taking the kids around the city to see the sights.

Longtime buddies Jude Law and “Eli Stone” star Jonny Lee Miller are having a laugh in the West Village – and maybe comparing notes on fatherhood. Jonny’s son Buster is ten months old and Jude is expecting baby #4 with actress/model Samantha Burke. The difference is that Jonny is married to Buster’s mom Michele Hicks, and Jude had a brief fling with Burke which resulted in her pregnancy. Samantha Burke is currently considering selling her fling story to the media for $200,000. Both dads are in rehearsal for shows opening soon on Broadway.

Jude Law’s kids are lucky because their parents had a civilized divorce. They’re on good terms. Jude’s in New York filming Sherlock Holmes and his children live with his exwife Sadie Frost in London. Sadie made arrangements to have their two youngest kids, iris and Rudy, visit him on the Brooklyn set. They also spent a day having fun in Soho.

JUDE LAW TAKES IT OUT ON HIS CELL PHONE

Jude Law can be sweet but every so often that fierce temper pops up. He was in a London park with his kids recently when his cell phone battery went dead. The phone was fairly new and instead of going home to calmly change the battery or charge it up, Jude cursed at the phone and threw it in a pond. An acquaintance of his says Jude is actually rather unhappy about where his career is going – or NOT going. (He HAS had a string of flops.) Also he HATES being alone and doesn’t have a steady girlfriend right now. This probably also explains why he roughed up that photographer in London. But somehow it’s difficult to conjure up sympathy for anyone that good looking.

Here’s Jude Law picking up a load of beer at his local store. It’s funny how English actors (including 007 Daniel Craig) seem to do their own errands, but you never see Brad Pitt or George Clooney fetching dry cleaning or groceries. Anyway, we are firm believers that you can’t have too many photos of Jude Law doing anything.

Jude Law was shopping at The Grove recently with his son Rafferty,10, and they were browsing the electronics and video games. Rafferty pounced on several items he wanted but Jude told him “No – pick just one thing.” Rafferty said he wanted three and Jude said evenly “One more chance.” Still, Rafferty insisted on three. So Jude patiently explained to Rafferty that HE is the father and Rafferty should listen to him and do as he says. They left the store with nothing. Jude has told friends that it’s difficult – but he’s determined that his kids won’t grow up spoiled like so many Hollywood children. Judging by this photo, Rafferty is going to grow up DANGEROUSLY good looking.

Boy crazy (and man-crazy) Lindsay Lohan forgets all obligations when she’s in the presence of a hottie like Jude Law. Lindsay had a magazine cover shoot scheduled in LA Sunday with a top fashion photographer and she blew it off. Racks of designer clothing had been assembled, a location paid for, and top stylists, makeup and hair people were booked for the expensive shoot. Lindsay was a no-show, and it was a total loss. She disappointed a lot of people. Why? She was busy in New York batting her fake eyelashes at Jude Law! She couldn’t resist staying out all night Saturday hanging with Jude and his friends – THAT was way more important than getting on a plane and showing up for her appointment. Some girls don’t know how LUCKY they are.
