Julian Assange

VIVIENNE WESTWOOD: SET JULIAN ASSANGE FREE!

Proving that you are never too old to protest, designer Vivienne Westwood, 79, (in a canary yellow suit) got herself suspended in a giant ten foot birdcage outside the Central Criminal Court of England to protest against the extradition of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange to the US where he faces prosecution. He published secret military and diplomatic documents that embarrassed the US, while revealing names of people who helped the US, and could be in danger. Ironically, Assange’s lawyers claim that our president offered Assange a pardon if he would say that Russia had nothing to do with the 2016 hacking of the Democratic National Committee. This legal situation could have future ramifications for freedom of the press – an extremely important issue. Vivienne Westwood and her son have always been huge supporters of Julian Assange. She introduced Julian to Pamela Anderson.

HEY PAM, WHAT’S UNDER THAT OVERCOAT?

Pamela Anderson is waiting to be buzzed in the door at the Ecuadorian embassy in London for yet another visit to Julian Assange. She’s become a more than regular visitor since they were introduced by Vivienne Westwood a few years ago. Pamela often brings special food treats for Julien because his options presently are limited. They also have long talks about politics – Pamela says she finds him “intellectually stimulating” and she appreciates his efforts to expose corruption in our government. She went on to describe him as “sexy” and that makes up wonder what Pam is wearing under those overcoats she wears to the embassy. A naughty French maid’s uniform, perhaps?

LADY GAGA TURNS POLITICAL AND SYMPATHIZES WITH JULIAN ASSANGE

#julianassange #ladygaga #janetcharlton

When Lady Gaga was at Harrods in London promoting her perfume she may have seen the “Free Assange – no extradition” sign in front of the Ecuador embassy where Julian Assange has found political asylum. The WikiLeaks founder is trapped there because if he leaves he can be arrested and shipped to Sweden where he has been accused of two sex attacks. Assange must be getting bored there because Lady Gaga was invited over and she spent around five hours at the embassy. We wonder if she and Julian were discussing possible methods of smuggling him out. She certainly might be able to provide a disguise. We may never know what they talked about, but we do have a photo that Gaga proudly posted on her site. Note she is dressed like a spy….
