ROSARIO DAWSON’S “UNFORGETTABLE” – A RARE MOVIE ABOUT WOMEN

The Fate of the Furious is expected to haul in the big bucks again this weekend, but we are WAY more motivated to watch Katherine Heigl play mind games with Rosario Dawson in “Unforgettable” – which was directed by a WOMAN, by the way, –Denise Di Novi. Heigl seems ideally cast as the perfectly groomed Stepford-ish ex-wife, consumed by jealousy of her ex-husband’s free-spirited new fiancée played by Rosario, of course. Women are the main characters and the men are just incidental in this film – just of opposite of Hollywood’s usual fare.

KATHERINE HEIGL GETS ALONG WITH ANIMALS

How bad can a person be who really loves animals? Katherine Heigl has earned quite a diva reputation for herself in Hollywood but maybe she’s not all that bad. It started when Heigl remarked that her hit movie “Knocked Up” was “sexist.” She was absolutely RIGHT- the movie was absurdly sexist. Can you imagine a woman like Heigl becoming obsessed with costar Seth Rogan’s loser character in real life? Not likely. But Seth Rogan took offense and badmouthed her on Howard Stern, which started the ball rolling. Her Grey’s Anatomy problems enhanced her bad rep. We heard that her manager/mother Nancy was actually the difficult and demanding one, but who knows. Her mother WAS with her at the animal fundraising event above.

JEFFREY DEAN MORGAN IS TURNING INTO THE MALE JENNIFER ANISTON

That means he gets loads of offers to play the “boyfriend” or “husband” of leading ladies. Like Jen, Jeffrey Dean Morgan is good looking and has a likeable personality with a measured dose of sex appeal. But he plays second banana exceptionally well. Jeffrey started out on “Grey’s Anatomy” as Katherine Heigl’s love interest and most recently he’s second fiddle to both Halle Berry in “Extant” and Juliana Margulies in “The Good Wife.”

There’s no doubt that Blake Lively looks like a real movie star. She arrived at the NY premier of her new movie “The Age of Adaline” in red leather and lace, reeking of glamour. Originally Katherine Heigl had the role but Blake ended up getting it. In the movie she plays a women who stops aging after an accident and stays 29 years old for eighty years. It’s a historical drama and she eventually falls in love and must decide if her man is worth giving up her immortality. We love movies about women!

KATHERINE HEIGL IS IN A MOTHERLY STATE OF MIND

State of Affairs star Katherine Heigl has not built a pleasant reputation in Hollywood – those stories about her being inconsiderate and temperamental on sets just won’t go away. (We did hear that her ever-present momager was responsible for much of the fuss.) Vaguely negative feelings we had about her fell way when we learned that she is an active animal advocate and has as many as eight dogs of her own. She has also adopted two cute little girls – Nancy is from South Korea and Adalaide is from the US. (Above, Katherine is holding Nancy’s hand and the nanny is carrying Adalaide at LAX.)

Grey's Anatomy Katherine Heigl Money

WOULD YOU GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THE “MOST OVERPAID ACTRESS IN HOLLYWOOD?”

Katherine Heigl didn’t know how lucky she was before she got too big for her britches on “Grey’s Anatomy.” Her character Izzie was hugely popular, but Heigl slammed the writing on the show and walked off when she got a movie offer. Other cast members couldn’t conceal their relief that the difficult and demanding actress was gone. Heigl had one hit movie, “Knocked Up,” and her price went way up. After that she did a bunch of forgettable fluffy romantic “comedies” that fizzled at the boxoffice. Last year she was voted “most overpaid actress in Hollywood.” And rumors about her diva-ish unpleasant behavior on sets escalated. Now she’s begging on funding site indiegogo.com for fans to donate $150,000 to finish her latest indie film “Jenny’s Wedding,” (another reason not to like her) and they’re not responding. Even with an autographed photo thrown in. It’s a slap in the face, but perhaps… just desserts.

There’s been a deafening silence from “Grey’s Anatomy” producers since Katherine Heigl started dropping hints that she’s like to return to the series that made her famous. She left after six seasons to do movies, but Heigl says she remembers the six seasons fondly and would love to continue with her character Dr Izzie Stevens. It sounds like she’s gotten a lot of lame movie scripts and grew to appreciate her TV character. Hopefully, Anatomy producers will bring back Izzie.

We were RIGHT when we assumed “Grey’s Anatomy” star Katherine Heigl might be expecting because of 3 observations in a recent photo. She was sucking on a lollipop instead of smoking, she wore a loose dress, and she and her husband Josh Kelley were in a baby store purchasing a stroller. The twist is that she’s adopting! Katherine and Josh are expecting a little girl from Korea this week whom they’ve already named Leigh. Katherine has always liked kids better than she liked the idea of being pregnant. Hopefully she’s stocked up on lollipops to avoid second hand smoke.
