FREDDIE PRINZE JR IS OUR HERO FOR TELLING THE TRUTH!

How can you NOT love Freddie Prinze Jr for telling it like it IS? The “I Know What You Did Last Summer” star costarred on the eighth season of “24” with Kiefer Sutherland and made it clear that working with Sutherland was no picnic. In fact , Freddie “hated every minute of it.” It was Kiefer’s “lack of professionalism” that made Freddie contemplate quitting show business! Obviously everyone kowtowed on the set to their precious star Kiefer and he was a self-centered diva. Despite his legendary boozing, Kiefer showed up for work, but probably in a horrible state much of the time. We only wish Freddie had provided MORE details! We love the way he made fun of Kiefer’s height by revealing he had to take off his shoes in scenes with him. Thanks, Freddie – honesty in Hollywood is delightful!

If there’s anyone you can count on for falling “off the wagon” spectacularly at regular intervals – it’s Keifer Sutherland. According to Mike Walker at the National Enquirer, the “24” actor got playful at the posh Petit Ermitage in West Hollywood after imbibing heavily at the bar. He started randomly grabbing puzzled people by the cheeks and pushing their faces into distorted shapes and then laughing hysterically at the goofy results. Eventually one irritated guy not only resisted, he threatened to punch Keifer in the face, and the giggling actor finally backed off.

Twins are an enduring source of fascination and we never realized that Kiefer Sutherland had a twin sister! Kiefer and his sister Rachel were born in London where Donald and their mother were working. Rachel is a post production supervisor in Hollywood. Kiefer has a sci-fi movie coming out in May called Melancholia – about the end of the world.

It’s been awhile since we’ve seen them together, but “24” star Keifer Sutherland is still seeing his New York girlfriend Siobhan Bonnouvrier. She’s the style director at Allure magazine. They’ve been dating since last year and spent the evening in a booth at a hip West Village bar called Kingswood. They were so wrapped up in conversation that they stayed an hour past closing time. Doesn’t she have to get up and go to work? They walked out looking happy, indeed.

KIEFER SUTHERLAND AND THE DOMINATRIX

If there’s one thing Kiefer Sutherland of “24” knows, it’s how to have a good time. Which is what he did last weekend in Las Vegas. Kief was there for the Bad Boys of Hockey weekend put together by Jerry Bruckheimer at the Hard Rock Hotel. Sutherland plays on the Canadian team. Coincidentally, there was a swingers convention at the hotel at the same time. Kiefer bumped into Las Vegas dominatrix (and body builder) Mistress Lee and he was apparently FASCINATED. The town was abuzz because the pair were seen all over the hotel together – including on the balcony of a private suite. Kiefer posed for photos with some of the swingers but he insists he declined an offer to join the swingers private party.

Just as we predicted, here comes Kiefer Sutherland arriving at LAX Sunday night, tan and with high hopes of collecting a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a drama series. Kiefer ran right outside to have a smoke before he gathered his luggage to go home. We were surprised to learn that the star of the hit series 24 is considered a super nice guy by photographers and fans. “He’s always polite and friendly and he autographs everything.” No obscene gestures or threats. Now we hope he wins.

JON LOVITZ FOOLS THE EYE?

It’s award show season and the tanning salons are booked solid. Skin color and gowns MUST be coordinated! Fake tans are lifesaver for pasty-faced actors who used to have to wear pancake makeup on the red carpet and they felt really foolish. Of course feeling foolish is better than taking a bad photograph. But not all celebrities frequent the fancy Beverly Hills salons like Paris Hilton. Bronzed Australian journalist Nelson Aspen gets his color at an inconspicuous no-frills strip mall salon and he always runs into celebrities in the waiting room. No surprise that Carmen Electra gets her golden glow there, but we WERE surprised to hear that Jon Lovitz and Kiefer Sutherland are regulars too. Jon thinks a tan makes him look thinner, but who would have guessed Canadian Kiefer had a touch of male vanity?

Keifer Sutherland, riding high on his 24 success, has an amusing clip here, but was looking more like a stranger in a strange land in 2003. Keifer arrived at Collar & Leash in West Hollywood in a frantic state. He explained “I’m taking care of my friend’s dog and I don’t know what I’m doing! I need EVERYTHING!” The 24 star begged for guidance and a clerk led him around the shop and they picked out a large crate, a big bag of dry dog food, food bowls, and some bones, and treats and toys. Obviously relieved to have completed his task, the actor had no qualms about paying a hefty tab.

Jeffrey Sebelia , the sarcastic rocker on Project Runway, with his child, shopping at Urban Outfitters in Pasadena. A salesclerk said “The whole store recognized him right away (must be that neck tattoo) and he seemed flattered by the attention. He was surprisingly NICE to everyone and bought a scarf….” This is how Tom Cruise and Katie strategically planned a dinner date at Giovanni’s in Malibu: First a black bronco pulled up and the driver checked out the place inside. (Making sure none of Tom’s exwives were there?) After getting the official OK, a black Mustang convertible carrying the pair pulled up. Both dashed inside wearing jeans and sweatshirts….Buxom Tanya Harding, pumping iron and gossiping in the weight room at the Hollywood YMCA… Scruffy looking Mel Gibson, baseball cap in hand, standing by an SUV in front of the park near The Abbey on Robertson Blvd. Nobody paid attention while he had an animated conversation with another man… Kiefer Sutherland, on his best behavior, politely admiring the attractive waitstaff at Holly’s West……

While Jim Carrey waited outside with his motor running in a white SUV, Jenny McCarthy clip clopped into Gelson’s at closing time in Pacific Palisades , wearing black patent stilettoes and a tight miniskirt . She left with a tiny bag of “personal necessities…” Lisa Rinna, picking up still more dance shoes and workout wear at Capezio in Hollywood. The shop is a landmark – it’s been there since 1960… Kiefer Sutherland looking not only clean and sober but “clean cut and well groomed” at California Pizza Kitchen on Sunset… What would Brandy think? Her brother Ray J was seen at Xenii consorting with video vixen Karinne Steffans…..
