KIRSTIE ALLEY’S FRIENDSHIP WITH LEAH REMINI IS SO OVER

It’s shocking how little time it took for Kirstie Alley to turn against her friend Leah Remini. The actresses have been friends for years and Kirstie guest starred on a very funny episode of Leah’s sitcom “King of Queens” (above) in 2006. Leah did not make a big fuss out of leaving Scientology nor was she openly critical – she quietly slipped away. Of course, none of her Scientology friends are ever allowed to speak to her again. She is now an enemy of the church and apparently an enemy of Kirstie, who tweeted this vitriolic comment:
“When faced w malicious gossip I take a moment to experience the loss of the person I thought was my friend… Then I say f–k em..:) #RISE” Alley tweeted on Wednesday.
What kind of “religion” does this? If Kirstie Alley’s daughter left the church she would never see her mother again! The insanity of Scientology is staggering. It will be interesting to see if Jennifer Lopez remains friendly with Leah.

THE JUDGE DECIDED KIRSTIE ALLEY DIDN’T TELL THE TRUTH ABOUT “ORGANIC LIAISON”

A big setback for Kirstie Alley and Scientology. A customer of Kirstie’s weight loss program “Organic Liaison” filed a lawsuit charging the Scientology backed company with false advertising. Kirstie claimed to have lost 100 pounds using her product, but the dissatisfied customer pointed out that Kirstie actually lost the weight by dieting and exercising and rehearsing for “Dancing with the Stars.” Kirstie’s high powered Scientology lawyer tried to get the suit dismissed, but the judge ruled against her. Kirstie had to pay the disgruntled customer $130,000 and she has to re-word the ads for her product. No doubt customers will lose faith in the system and the Los Feliz store will be emptier than ever.

At least she has a sense of humor about herself. Kirstie Alley tweeted this shocking image of her head photoshopped onto an enormous body in a bikini. Like Honey Boo Boo’s mother, Kirstie claims to have lost 100 pounds (thanks to her Scientology weight loss program,) but we have our doubts.

We’re starting to think that Kirstie Alley’s new TV Land series “Giant Baby” is shaping up to be a potential winner. Kirstie plays a Broadway star named Madison Banks, whose long lost son appears in her life after his adopted mother dies, and changes everything. Rhea Perlman plays Madison’s wise-cracking assistant/best friend, and Michael Richards has just been cast to play her limo driver. Richards behavior has long been problematic – we witnessed an incident in a restaurant where he was quite boorish to a fan. But the Seinfeld star IS undeniably funny, and we look forward to seeing this group work together.

After declaring her unrequited love for John Travolta, Kirstie Alley continued her romanticized walk down memory lane by announcing that she and Patrick Swayze “fell in love” while filming “North and South” in 1985. This will be big news to Patrick’s faithful wife of 34 years, Lisa Niemi, who buried her husband three years ago, and maybe to Kirstie’s then-husband Parker Stevenson. Granted, while Kirstie dredged up this supposed romance, she insists they never had sex and therefore didn’t really cheat. (She admits she propositioned him one night and he turned her down.) Lisa Niemi has been friends with Kirstie for years and invited her to speak at Patrick’s funeral. This cannot make HER feel good. Kirstie should think about the consequences before she brags about her past liaisons.

Kirstie Alley gets lucky every time she appears on Dancing with the Stars. Opportunities seem to pop up out of nowhere and now she’s doing a pilot for TV Land called “Giant Baby.” Kirstie plays a Broadway star whose life changes when her long lost son turns up to reconnect after his adopted mother dies. Her loyal but tormented assistant played by Rhea Perlman urges her to welcome the twenty-something young man into her world. Kirstie’s character decides the nerdy son needs a makeover and she struggles to make him cool. Sounds like a good fit for Kirstie, but hopefully the title will change if the pilot becomes a series.

Her face tells it all. Kirstie Alley is showing the strain of her strenuous daily rehearsals for the all-star version of Dancing With the Stars. Usually she smiles and does a spin for paparazzi, but today she was too drained and simply staggered to her car. Apparently 61year old Kirstie’s body isn’t accustomed to the daily punishment yet. Or maybe she thought the second time around (she placed second in 2011) would be easier. Her partner Maxsim Chmerkovskiy left rehearsal with considerably more pep in his step.
