LADY GAGA: “PAPARAZZI” ARE THE LEAST OF HER PROBLEMS

Director Ridley Scott must be putting Lady Gaga through the wringer in Italy where they are STILL filming (seems like many months) House of Gucci, and she is FRAZZLED. Carrying the starring role in only her second movie (filled with established successful actors) is daunting in itself. Gaga has pages of dialog to prepare every day, along with hair and wardrobe changes galore. The pressure has gotten to her. Gaga was seen sneaking cigarettes off-camera. This is significant because in 2020 she abruptly quit her two-packs-a-day smoking habit with GREAT difficulty. When the worst was over, she declared that she would NEVER smoke again. House of Gucci made her break that promise to herself. We feel bad for her and hope she will get a grip when this is over.

Al Pacino House of Gucci Lady Gaga

LADY GAGA IS DRESSED TO KILL IN HOUSE OF GUCCI

Lady Gaga is looking every inch the entitled Italian socialite (bejeweled and wearing a mink coat) that she is playing in her movie House of Gucci. She must be enjoying her many costume changes. After filming scenes in Lake Como, the production has returned to Rome where their current set is near the actual Gucci store. Gaga plays the Black Widow (dubbed by the newspapers) Patrizia Reggiani, accused of hiring someone to murder her ex-husband Maurizio. Above, Al Pacino plays Aldo Gucci, Maurizio’s important uncle. The movie takes place from the 1970’s to the 90’s and judging by Al’s sideburns, this is a scene from the 70’s. Also featured in this scene was an actress playing Sophia Loren, being pursued by paparazzi. The REAL Patrizia Reggiani is already out of prison and bitterly complaining that Lady Gaga should have met her before filming started.

LADY GAGA: A NEW YORK ITALIAN GIRL’S DREAM COMES TRUE

Lady Gaga’s dreams must have come true when she was cast in this Gucci movie, now filming in Italy. First of all, the character she plays, Patrizia Reggiani, the Italian socialite who married and later murdered Maurizio Gucci, is QUITE an eccentric. Patrizia was known to shop the fanciest neighborhood in Milan loaded with gaudy jewelry, movie star sunglasses, with a pet Macaw perched on her shoulder. She was described as having a “strong personality” and meddled relentlessly in her husband’s business. When he left her for another woman, she threatened to kill him several times, and finally hired a hitman to do it in 1995. Three hours after the shooting she had the girlfriend booted out of Maurizio’s house. She swears she’s innocent, but was convicted of the crime and is already out on parole, complaining that she has to shop at Zara now because she has no money. It all went to Maurizio’s children. Costarring in the film are Jeremy Irons, Jared Leto, and Al Pacino as other Guccis. Above, 5’1″ Lady Gaga (in white fur hat) and the ill-fated Mauricio (played by 6’2″ Adam Driver in white turtleneck) were filmed skiing in the Italian Alps in happier days.

Gucci Lady Gaga Murder Platform Shoes

NOBODY WALKS IN PLATFORMS BETTER THAN LADY GAGA

Lady Gaga might have walked out of her Rome hotel unrecognized if it weren’t for those astonishingly high platform shoes. It’s amazing that she isn’t hanging on to anyone or anything with those bumpy streets. Mariah Carey always needs several men to help her walk when she wears similar shoes. Gaga is In Italy filming her scandalous Gucci movie – it’s based on a book titled The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed. Gaga stars as Italian socialite Patrizia Reggiani, the ex-wife of Maurizio Gucci, grandson of the Gucci founder. Patrizia was tried and convicted of arranging the bloody assassination of her husband in 1995. Note that Gaga’s not wearing a single piece of Gucci – even her handbag is Valentino.

LADY GAGA IS GAGA OVER HARVARD GRAD

Looks like Lady Gaga has landed herself a live one this time around. She’s had a lot of boyfriends, but this one has credentials. Michael Polansky was wooing Gaga under the radar with his mask on, for months before anyone figured out who he is. He is quite different from past boyfriends – Michael has no connection to show business. He graduated from Harvard (!) in 2006, where he studied math and computer programming. He’s established himself as a philanthropist and board member for a number of charities. He may not be quite as handsome as Gaga’s ex Taylor Kinney, but he’s a man of substance. Gaga has described him as “the love of my life” and she takes him everywhere – including the Inauguration.

Brad Pitt Bullet Train Haus Lab Lady Gaga Make up

LADY GAGA IS GETTING THAT KARDASHIAN LOOK

Hate to mention it, but it seems like ever since Lady Gaga came out with her cosmetic collection Haus Laboratories, she has started looking more and more like a Kardashian. Extremely glamorous and artificial. Hopefully she will ditch the fakery in the movie role she just landed opposite Brad Pitt. She’s costarring with Brad in a thriller called Bullet Train, and the premise is interesting. Five hired assassins find themselves on a bullet train from Tokyo to Morioka with only a few stops. Their missions are related to each other – who will make it off the train and what awaits them at the terminal? Remember, Lady Gaga got an Oscar nomination for her last movie A Star is Born.

It was a mob scene when Lady Gaga showed up at The Grove to promote her new Haus Labs makeup pop up shop. We’re fascinated by the jeweled extensions (rings?) on every finger of her right hand. Those huge platforms are not easy to walk on in the middle of so many people. To her credit, Gaga’s makeup collection is sparkly and affordable, but we would expect it to be much more inspired and off-beat – there’s nothing new to get excited about…

SAM ELLIOTT’S A STAR IS BORN COSTARS BRAVE THE RAIN FOR HIM

Love this photo of Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga embracing Sam Elliott at Sam’s hand and footprint ceremony on the Hollywood Walk of Fame IN THE RAIN. Turns out Sam is quite a popular guy – he and his wife Katharine Ross attended the Golden Globes last night, but the table of A Star is Born participants were disappointed- lots of nominations, but only one win for Best Song. Nevertheless, Bradley and Gaga braved the elements today, as did a number of celebs, to praise Sam and give him a hug on Hollywood Blvd.

At first glance, we thought this might be Lady Gaga because the shoes looked familiar, but it turns out this is a genuine British eccentric. Daphne Guinness is heir to the beer fortune and she’s a fixture in the UK fashion world for many reasons. She’s been involved with numerous fashion (Karl Lagerfeld) and cosmetic companies both as a model and artistically, and she SINGS. This 51 year old socialite is on all the Best Dressed lists and party invitation lists. Apparently she also has an admirable sense of balance…
