OMAROSA VS LATOYA JACKSON: WE SMELL A FAKE FEUD

We’re inclined to think this LaToya Jackson/Omarosa feud that erupted Sunday night on Celebrity Apprentice is actually a plot hatched by two people who love publicity. Omarosa was obnoxious and she cried and never shut up, and LaToya implied that she was so nasty that she caused her fiancé Michael Clarke Duncan to have that fatal heart attack. Omarosa was her usual awful TV self and the usually soft-spoken LaToya was feisty and out of character on the show. Now Omarosa is threatening to sue LaToya for her insults. Looks like a big scheme to drum up ratings and attention for the two women.

Here’s LaToya at work! She’s obviously savoring her position as Prince Jackson’s manager as they arrived with considerable fanfare on the set of 90210 where he is scheduled to film his cameo role. It looks like she’s already making demands for her client and ordering people around. LaToya has big plans for Michael’s children.

THE “WHERE’S LA TOYA JACKSON?” MYSTERY IS SOLVED

We just figured out WHY LaToya Jackson was mysteriously MISSING during the Jackson family squabbles over the past few weeks. Usually LaToya is very free with her opinions. The reason for her reticence is because she was negotiating with Oprah’s OWN network to have her own reality series and didn’t want to jeopardize the deal. Now that papers are signed she has her own show “Life With LaToya,” that will hopefully be more interesting and realistic than her brothers disastrous scripted reality series, modestly titled “The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty.” The show lasted for only six awkward episodes on A&E, and went off the air in 2010. LAToya, 56, IS more watchable than her brothers, but is her private life really all that intriguing?

WHERE IS LATOYA? Since the money hungry Jackson family started taking sides against each other, LaToya has been conspicuously absent. And she’s not in the habit of keeping quiet. Remember, after Michael died, La Toya announced that he had been “murdered!” She did not sign the infamous letter requesting that Michael’s estate executors be replaced by family members, nor was she involved in the “kidnapping” of Katherine, or the physical altercation at the Jackson home Monday. Frankly, we were very surprised to see Janet involved in this buffoonery. LaToya’s silence through all of this is puzzling. We can only think of one reason that would keep her from commenting profusely at this time – perhaps she is recovering from some cosmetic procedure and cannot be seen. Otherwise she’d be in the middle of it all! La Toya, hurry up and heal! We need to know where you stand!

SHOULD THE JACKSONS BE “OVERJOYED” BY THE MURRAY VERDICT?

Why Michael Jackson’s family feels so celebratory since Dr Murray was appropriately found guilty is puzzling – it’s not like he WANTED Michael to die. It reminds us of parents who lose a child to drugs – they desperately want someone else to BLAME because they can’t bear to admit their child destroyed himself. So they accuse the drug dealer of murder. In fact, their children, and Michael Jackson, would still be alive if they hadn’t been addicted to drugs. Period. Murray was the doctor who got caught – what about all the other doctors who gave Michael what he wanted? There’s a lot of malpractice here, but ultimately Michael was a more than willing victim. Before her brother Michael Jackson died, La Toya was writing a book about what it was like to be a sister to Michael and Janet. After Michael’s death she switched gears and reworked the book to focus on the last days of Michael’s life and called it “Starting Over.” It seems like anyone who’s ever had a loved one die of a drug overdose wants to blame the dealer – or at least someone else. La Toya, a former spokesperson for The Psychic Network – you will recall – has her own ideas of who to blame and it’s certainly not Michael himself.

(It’s Randy, La Toya, and Michael, au natural) After Michael Jackson had most of his plastic surgery and skin lightened, he tried to buy and destroy all the photos he could find of himself before the makeover. Because he was such a public figure it proved to be an impossible task, but he TRIED.
