She became a star on The Cosby Show in 1984, and three years later when she was 20, she married rock star Lenny Kravitz. They split in 1993, and she started dating a guy who fell in love with her watching The Cosby Show and never got over it -– Jason Momoa. Her charmed life became even more delightful recently when Jason surprised her with an amazing gift: he presented her with a restored version of her very first car (that she loved) – a 1965 Ford Mustang. He documented the car restoration in a YouTube video. We love that the two husbands are good friends.

He says women are more sensible, have better intuition, and are stronger – they get the job done that needs to be done. And he’s GRATEFUL to have had such positive feminine influence in his upbringing. We totally agree that more women in office will solve LOT of problems…

Lenny Kravitz has never been a slacker when it comes to voting. As far back as 1990, he was filming ads for MTV’s Rock The Vote and he’s still setting a sterling example. Apparently Lenny had a “voting date “ in Miami Beach – he and a girlfriend patiently stood in line to cast their ballots early. Lenny is pushing his Instagram followers to do the same.

Lenny “snake hips” Kravitz knows how to have a good time AND drum up business for his current European tour at the same time. He arranged his schedule so he could attend the Dior show at Men’s Fashion Week in Paris and he came with Naomi Campbell, knowing those “romance” rumors would start up again. Every time he and Naomi step out together the speculation begins, and both seem to enjoy the resulting attention. Actually they are just friends, and have been for decades.

LISA BONET HAD A FAMILY REUNION AT THE MET GALA

It was a nice surprise to see Lisa Bonet all dolled up, leaving the Bowery Hotel on her way to the “China: Through The Looking Glass” themed Costume Institute Benefit Gala at the Met. Her gorgeous husband Jason Momoa was nowhere to be found (we’d love to see HIM dressed up!) but Lisa met up with her actress daughter Zoe Kravitz, 26, (Divergent) and her exhusband Lenny Kravitz and they all went to the event together. Sweet.

WHAT’S GOING ON? THE MARVIN GAYE MOVIE IS FINALLY IN THE WORKS

We’ve been waiting what seems like forever for Marvin Gaye’s life story to come to the big screen. It’s not clear whether the movie, “Sexual Healing,” will document Marvin’s death – he was shot and killed by his own cross-dressing father in 1984, but it will cover the last years of his life spent in Europe, trying to conquer addictions. According to Deadline.com, Lenny Kravitz was set to star but for some reason, Gaye’s son vehemently objected. He’s been replaced by Law & Order star Jesse L. Martin, who starred in the original version of “Rent” on Broadway, meaning he can sing and dance.

Not long ago we saw this photo of Lenny Kravitz walking down the street chatting into an old fashioned phone receiver attached to his iPhone. In the back of our mind, we kept wondering WHY he was using the attention getting device. Yesterday we saw a man driving down the street with the same receiver perched on his shoulder as he talked and drove with both hands on the wheel. An AHA moment! Is it legal to drive and talk on the phone as long as both hands are on the wheel? THAT might be the appeal of the handset – along with avoidance of radiation…
