Playgirl gave up the pretense of being aimed at women who like to look at naked men a long time ago – now the magazine is full-out directed at the gay “hot studs” audience. The publication seems rather desperate for publicity because they keep making extravagant offers to B list celebrities to take it all off, knowing in advance what the answer is. Jon Gosselin was insulted by their $20,000 offer and Jersey Shore’s Vinny turned up his nose at $30,000. The magazine supposedly offered Glee’s Mark Salling $100,000 – only because they were sure he’d turn it down. We wonder what Kim’s brother Rob Kardashian thought about his $45,000 offer – and whether his agent/mom Kris tried to get a better deal. Nobody really knows how much Levi Johnston was actually paid for his semi-nudes because both sides exaggerate.

The worm has turned. Encouraged by her reception on “Dancing With The Stars,” Bristol Palin has acquired an agent and not only is SHE going Hollywood, but she had her two year old Tripp sign with her agent also. No more Alaska, she plans to STAY in sunny Los Angeles!

LEVI JOHNSTON: IT’S ALL ABOUT THE BENJAMINS

Today Levi Johnston is filming that video with singer Brittani Senser from Minneapolis and it was obviously a smart move on her handlers part to hire him because she’s getting tons of publicity. They’re filming at mansion on Franklin near Normandie and Levi’s walking around feeling important with his hulking bodyguard Tank, who is apparently lacking in manners. There are attempts to spin a “romance” between the two since they showed up at the Teen Choice Awards last night, but don’t believe it. We hear that Levi is being paid $9000 for the video performance. His reality show is also at the shoot, filming him.

Bristol Palin knows more about Hollywood than she admits – or maybe her baby-daddy Levi Johnston gave her a few pertinent tips. Anyway, she was astute enough to collaborate with Levi and sell their “We’re Getting Married!” scoop to US magazine for a cover story. After they got the check, they changed their minds about the so-called marriage and notified People magazine that the wedding is OFF. The “battling” couple ended up with a tidy sum of money, yet Bristol insists that it’s Levi who is “obsessed with the limelight.”

LEVI JOHNSTON COULD BE A HOT GUY ON “DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES”

Now that Levi Johnston has conquered Playgirl, we hear he’s headed for Wisteria Lane. Levi, who also goes by the name Rikki Hollywood, is in talks to guest star on a three episode arc on “Desperate Housewives.” Marc Cherry, the series creator, is a gay Republican and he was intrigued by Levi when he saw him at last year’s Republican National Convention. He offered Levi a role on the show and Levi/Rikki is taking acting lessons to prepare.
