LINDSAY LOHAN IS HER OWN WORST ENEMY

We can’t help but think that Lindsay Lohan’s burglary has more than a little to do with her bad habits and the questionable company she keeps. A few weeks ago she was at the Roxy for a special event. She was described as “loud, boisterous, and completely THRASHED.” An eye witness told us “Lindsay traipsed back and forth to the bathroom constantly – sometimes holding hands with girlfriends.” Our spy walked in on her once and Lindsay was snorting white powder through a straw from the bar. During the evening Lindsay had her water bottle refilled with vodka from the bartender several times. When she left she had to be helped out the back door.

Mischa Barton might be surprised to hear what her so-called friend Lindsay Lohan has been up to behind her back. Mischa’s recent hospitalization had her role on CW’s new show The Beautiful Life in jeopardy. Lindsay supposedly was very supportive of Mischa’s recovery, but at the same time she was jockeying to replace Mischa on the series! Lindsay didn’t try to sabotage Mischa’s job, but she DID let producers know she was very interested in the role if they recast it. So Far, Mischa seems to be doing fine.

Lindsay Lohan is looking a little rough around the edges here. On this particular night she was seen circling her estranged girlfriend Samantha Ronson’s house in her car. Eventually she found out which club Sam was at and she went there and followed her home after 2:30 AM. It LOOKS like a fatal attraction, but Samantha isn’t protesting vehemently.

Michael Lohan (above with his 34 year old fiancee Erin Muller) has a new job. Lindsay’s father has signed up to become a spokesperson for the new water vapor non flammable E-Cigarettes sold on “SmokingEverywhere.com.” The electronic cigarettes are advertised as “healthy” with no harmful additives, yet they give the smoker a dose of nicotine. Michael told entertainment journalist Patricia Towle that he already introduced the smoking substitute to Mickey Rourke- who loved it. Lohan is hoping to get Hollywood hooked on his product.

The atmosphere at Prive nightclub in Las Vegas must have heated up when Lindsay Lohan and Melanie Brown got together. Melanie is currently performing in the “Peep Show” burlesque show, also located at Planet Hollywood. Mel reportedly snapped a photo of Lindsay and startled her and apologized by planting a big kiss on her. Lindsay didn’t complain. The two hit the dance floor were they gyrated in a frenzy until they collapsed in a sweaty heap. Hmmm.

Everybody has their own way of dealing with a break-up. Lindsay Lohan stopped moping (and denying that she and Samantha Ronson split) and headed straight for the hair salon. She walked out with an extra-long set of hair extensions. (And she appears to have dropped a few pounds.) Sam, on the other hand, hung out with her buddy (and fellow DJ) Benji Madden, and chatted over coffee in Larchmont Village.

According to the NY Post, those coveted freebies like $5000 watches, flat screen tv’s, and spa vacations, are a thing of the past! Companies don’t have the budgets for gift suites any more – they have better uses for their money. The Golden Globes will have minimal gifting and few top shelf products. Greedy girls like Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, and Mariah Carey, who used to load up their assistants with gift bags are out of luck. Everyone knows most of the loot ends up in the hands of assistants and housekeepers, anyway. Keanu Reeves made a name for himself by REFUSING to visit gift suites at Sundance.

Lindsay Lohan may be “out” with her relationship with Sam Ronson, but she’s still in the closet with her substance abuse. Sam was spinning for a lesbian party at the Roxy last Thursday and Lindsay was a huge hit with the gay girls. Many admirers wanted to send her drinks but she told them “I don’t drink, thank you.” At the same time she was sneakily drinking the vodka and red bulls that friends at her table ordered. Lindsay wouldn’t use the public bathroom so the Roxy allowed her to use a backstage band bathroom. A witness says she ran back and forth to her private bathroom all night – at least once every half hour. “It was obvious she wasn’t touching up her makeup.”

Guesting on Ugly Betty must have given Lindsay Lohan a major ego boost. (She appeared on the last show of last season and she’s on the first show of the new season.) It seems like the show made America Ferrera’s Betty character look even dumpier and dressed her more absurdly than ever! Next to Betty, Lindsay looks like an Amazonian goddess. Lindsay Lohan has been involved in some outrageous behavior involving drugs, booze, extreme partying, multiple romances, driving under the influence etc. However, the thing that REALLY horrifies her father Michael Lohan is, apparently Lindsay’s affection for Samantha Ronson. Michael is SO appalled at the notion of the two girls together that he refuses to LOOK at photographs of them cuddling and insists “it’s a vicious plot to turn me against my daughter.”
