BAD IDEA: OPRAH IS COUNTING ON LINDSAY LOHAN SERIES TO BOOST OWN NETWORK

People seem to be tired of watching Betty Ford dropout Lindsay Lohan enjoy one opportunity after another, after lousing up her own life and career. Her new docu-series “Lindsay” didn’t set any records for Oprah’s OWN network – the first episode Sunday night pulled in 693,000 viewers. Mediocre at best. One wonders what Lindsay did to deserve being paid two million dollars, given assistants and a stylist, and set up in a fancy New York apartment, while having cameras follow her efforts at resurrecting her career. Is she even grateful? Funny – we’re just not interested enough to tune in.

LINDSAY LOHAN WANTS TO SHARE HER THOUGHTS WITH US!

Lindsay Lohan hopes to raise some big bucks by writing a book. TMZ says she met with potential publishers as part of the docu-series that Oprah Winfrey is backing. The question is: how can a COMPULSIVE LIAR convince us to read her book? Lindsay has been caught in countless lies over the years and seems not to care in the slightest. One of her most revolting episodes was when she stole that necklace from a shop in Venice, California. We have a feeling her recollections will involve a lot of “poor little me” self pity and blaming others for her problems – that’s NOT a book we’ll be paying for.

Her father Michael is riled up over his ex-wife Dina’s tell all book but he’s willing to call a truce because he’s planning to come back to New York for Christmas. He claims he’s trying to get the whole family back together for a big happy Christmas like the old days. But he’s bringing along his baby mama Kate Major, a former tabloid reporter with substance abuse problem like his own. Dina wants nothing to do with Kate and banned them all from her house. PAPARAZZI STRESS DROVE DINA LOHAN TO DRIVE DRUNK!

Unbelievable! Dina Lohan’s lawyer Mark Heller must be quite a piece of work. When she went to court for speeding and DUI (her blood alcohol level was over twice the legal limit) Heller stated that his client has no problem with alcohol and doesn’t need treatment. When police pulled her over Dina said she was “being followed.” Her lawyer claimed that the paparazzi caused her to drink too much. He said the stress caused by the paparazzi and media attention drove her to drink. Keep in mind, this is a woman who has been COURTING the press and desperately trying to become a celebrity herself! Victims of drunk drivers are not going to see the humor in her blaming the paparazzi!

ARE PEOPLE SICK OF THE SIGHT OF LINDSAY LOHAN?

SOMEBODY’S not as hot as they used to be. Despite relentless publicity, Oprah Winfrey’s interview with Lindsay Lohan was NOT a hit with viewers! According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 1 hour premier on OWN drew 892,000 viewers. In comparison, Oprah’s interview with Whitney Houston’s family in 2012 had 3.5 million viewers and her Lance Armstrong interview pulled in 3.2 million viewers. Lohan admitted lying about her cocaine use but avoided the subject of her real obsession, Adderall. Oprah might be having second thoughts about signing Lohan to an eight episode docuseries on OWN that will follow her acting career.

Britney Spears and Brooke Mueller have also been habitual users of the drug. Every skinny girl in Hollywood seems to want us to think they have ADD and they all find docs to write prescriptions. Nicole Ritchie and Paris Hilton have also been known to carry the weight loss drug in their purses. According to RadarOnline, long term use can increase paranoia and Amanda seems to be hooked. She probably smoked all that weed to calm herself down from the speed in Adderall. This prescription drug has probably contributed to a lot of crazy female behavior in Hollywood – and elsewhere…

LINDSAY LOHAN TO CLIFFSIDE REHAB: “PASS THE ADDERALL!”

As usual, Lindsay Lohan switched rehabs just 30 days into her 90 day sentence in hopes of getting more sympathetic treatment. She left Betty Ford after just 30 days and checked into Cliffside in Malibu with court approval. (Why do they approve these unnecessary moves?) According to RadarOnline she was obnoxious at Betty Ford, demanding Adderall and refusing to attend group therapy. They weren’t sorry to see her go. Justin Bieber’s alleged drug connection is also at Cliffside, so she might like the company better.

WHAT IS ALEC BALDWIN THINKING IN THIS PHOTO?

Lindsay Lohan is making the most of her last days of freedom before reporting for rehab. She and her wealthy Saudi Arabian friend Mohammed Al Turki attended a Broadway performance of Orphans, although they arrived late and missed the first 45 minutes. Linds trotted her middle-eastern moneyman (he’s an up and coming producer) backstage to say hello to the show’s star Alec Baldwin. They all posed for a photo and if Alec’s face is any indication, he’s highly amused by the scene. Lohan is in dire straits financially, and she found one more wealthy guy who wants to be part of the “Hollywood scene” – another match made in heaven.

Will Lindsay Lohan EVER learn? Last October she showed up for a party for Mr Pink’s Ginseng Drink in Beverly Hills. She was photographed holding the beverage and the company was grateful (although what it did for their business we will never know.) So they invited Lindsay to fly on their private jet the last time she visited Los Angeles. Unfortunately the pilot caught Lindsay SMOKING in the bathroom (and it wasn’t her first time.) That’s a BIG no-no. The jet company slapped a $5000 fine on Mr Pink – cleaning fee to get the smoke smell out. And they call Lindsay ungrateful…
