She’s already won an Oscar, and now Lupita Nyong’o is in New York promoting her new children’s book – and she’s dressed in the perfect outfit. Not too sexy or too serious. Lupita’s book, called Sulwe (“Star” in Lupita’s native language) is aimed at 4 to 8 year olds and addresses the issue of skin color prejudice. It’s an inspiring story about a dark-skinned Kenyan girl who has a magical adventure and learns about colorism and self-esteem while having fun. Just what little girls need.

LUPITA NYONG’O CAN’T KEEP HER EYES OFF YOU

Uh-oh, we see a trend developing here, and we’re not talking about the shiny pink jumpsuit. 12 Years a Slave star (and Oscar winner) Lupita Nyong’o is currently promoting her new horror film Us, and she’s been turning up at premiers and promotional events with startling EYE colors. She wore RED contacts to the UK premier and these YELLOW contacts in New York. Can her own collection of all-occasion Lupita colored eye contacts be far behind?

YEP, I’M LUPITA’S REAL BOYFRIEND!

The queen of Oscar night, Lupita Nyong’o, is not as fancy-free as she wants us to think. She got a kick out of being inaccurately linked to Jared Leto, and did a bit of flirting at all the Oscar season parties alone. But her Special Someone has finally appeared. She was seen holding hands with her secret boyfriend, Somali-Canadian rapper K’Naan. 36, and she was noticed at one of his LA concerts. He seems to be reasonably successful, but….
