We found this glamorous photo online and since this is NOT Rihanna’s child, we couldn’t help but wonder if this as an ad for Fenty Beauty– Rihanna’s cosmetic company that offers “Beauty Created For Everyone.” And what ELSE could it be promoting except for mother- daughter makeup products? The little girl looks very pretty – and a LOT like Rihanna. But we’re not convinced that we like the idea of makeup for toddlers…

HERE’S a first: Fran Drescher without makeup! According to a source, Fran’s makeup free appearance yesterday to announce the SAG/AFTRA strike was deliberate. Fran, who is the president of the actor’s union, took a lot of flak when she was photographed last weekend at the Dolce & Gabbana fashion show hanging out with Kim Kardashian. Some union members complained that as the president of the union, she should have been hard at work at contract negotiations and not halfway around the world at a fashion show. Fran, who rarely leaves the house without make-up, deliberately appeared at today’s press press conference au naturel with messy hair and bags under her eyes to give the appearance that she’s been hard at work. Fran, who is usually in designer outfits, completed the serious at work look with a T-shirt and an unflattering hoodie. This was no slip up, she wanted to silence her critics. (we love her either way)

When we saw this photo of Johnny Depp at the Cannes premier of his movie Jeanne du Barry, we immediately wondered if he had started using the same Clinique for Men bronzer that Donald Trump uses . Depp usually looks rock n’ roll pasty and considerably rougher when playing with his band. Today we learned from Page 6 that since he represents Dior fragrance, the company sent an expensive crew of beauticians to give him a total makeover at the hotel before he hit the red carpet. They worked on his hair, his face, and dressed him up head to toe in custom made Dior finery. Some people have all the luck…

That’s putting it mildly. Lourdes Leon is only 26 years old and nice looking, but she makes herself appear considerably older and hard edged. For starters, she doesn’t need all that HEAVY makeup- models in Paris are fresh-faced and natural these days. Lourdes looks like a female rapper who ‘s been around the block more than a few times. Her outfit is enough to scare the nice guys away and it hints at desperation. She wore this to the Mugler H&M Global Launch Event in New York and we saw dozens of photos of her. She wasn’t smiling in a single one of them…this girl needs a makeunder.

Janet Jackson had an interesting companion for the Louis Vuitton show in Paris. She and shoe designer Christian Louboutin have actually been to several red carpet events together in the past year. It does NOT look like she’s wearing his boots, however. Janet is wearing a Vuitton silver sequin puffy jacket that isn’t doing her any favors. But again it’s her hair that we take issue with. She deserves better than those two large heavy ponytails. And her makeup is way too vivid for daytime. We know how good she CAN look. When Janet and Christian went inside, SHE sat in the front row and he went to the back.

Jennifer Aniston reported back to work on the New York set of The Morning Show looking as fresh as ever. We love the fact that even though she’s on camera, Jennifer never overdoes it in the makeup department. She’s never seen in those thick and heavy false eyelashes and she still has natural lips – so many actresses have those gigantic lips dripping with gloss. She might be just the right person to come out with a line of natural looking makeup- the exact opposite of the Kardashian collection. Jen already has Lolavie hair products, so it wouldn’t be a stretch.
Kim Kardashian got up early on Oscar morning to attend her son Saint’s soccer game. Little Saint looks like a mischievous handful (takes after his father?) and you can bet Kim has help with her to keep things under control. That’s Kim’s daughter North behind her, pulling a sweatshirt over her head. But most interesting is the fact that Kim has no visible makeup on and she looks just fine. In fact, she looks years younger. Looking extremely fake has long been the Kardashian template – wouldn’t it be nice if they took a tip from current fashion models and tried to look natural!

Victoria Beckham is putting all her efforts into promoting not only her fashion line, but her makeup collection. She’s in Paris now for Fashion Week and beautifully dressed in her own designs, as usual. She’s also sporting some freshly enhanced lips to better advertise her Victoria Beckham Beauty makeup and skin care products. There happens to be a LOT of competition in the makeup field right now: Gwen Stefani, Selena Gomez, Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Lopez and Hailey Bieber are all hoping to be as successful as Rihanna. So Victoria must try harder…
