ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER IS A POLITE POLITICIAN

Arnold Schwarzenegger isn’t letting politics come before good manners. Arnold is a regular at Gold’s Gym in Venice, California where his former cousin-in-law, RFK Jr. also works out, (They were related through marriage when Arnold was wed to Maria Shriver). According to our muscular gym source, the two men hit the gym at different times, and haven’t run into one another since Junior launched his independent run for the White House, which is UNPOPULAR with the Kennedy clan. It’s no secret that Arnie thinks RFK, Jr. is off his rocker with some of his farfetched political beliefs, but nonetheless our source says Arnold could not have been nicer when he ran into him during a recent workout. He gave him a big hug and they had a pleasant conversation.

Yes, dentists DO recommend flossing as often as possible, but IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET? Mark Wahlberg is filming Transformers: The Last Knight on the streets of Detroit and today he had a hasty salad lunch. While the cast and crew stood around him waiting, Wahlberg carefully flossed his teeth for the whole world to see. Maybe he’s setting an example for his kids.

TIME FOR SOMEONE TO CALL OUT KANYE WEST FOR WHAT HE IS

Seems like every day we hear more reasons NOT to like Kanye West. We think Anna Wintour should have ejected him from the Met Ball for wearing torn jeans to the strictly black tie event. In NOT doing so, she reinforced his belief that he is SPECIAL and rules don’t apply to him. We have long heard that he tells his wife Kim what to do and she obeys. Now his former bodyguard has dropped a few nuggets of information about his ex-boss. The guard was fired after speaking directly to Kim. The guard told The Sun that Kanye is incredibly condescending and totally self-absorbed. He doesn’t speak to or acknowledge his security staff. When they watch him at dinner in a restaurant, he NEVER offers them so much as a glass of water. Other celebs often have guards eat at the next table. People around Kanye indulge him and walk around on eggshells, hoping not to set him off. His handlers apologize for him. The security guy cannot imagine why Kim stays married to him. It seems that manners and respect are not a part of Kanye’s life.

Kids Manners Neil Patrick Harris

NEIL PATRICK HARRIS IS THE NICE GUY YOU THOUGHT HE WAS

Neil Patrick Harris lives up to expectations. The upcoming Oscar host recently moved to New York from Los Angeles, but while he lived here he frequented a hamburger place in Larchmont Village that his kids liked. He often ate there with Gideon and Harper, his 3 year old fraternal twins. A waiter told us that Neil was “amazingly polite and charming to everyone.” And he’s a disciplinarian. If his kids got loud he pulled them aside and quietly gave them a serious talking-to until they behaved. They will undoubtedly be well brought up!

Manners Plastic Surgery Renee Zellweger

WHAT DID RENEE ZELLWEGER DO TO DESERVE THIS?

Calling Renee Zellweger “unrecognizable” at a recent appearance in New York (above) is both ridiculous and insulting. As far as we can surmise, the “unrecognizable” word was used first by the UK’s Daily Mail and American media followed suit. If you really look at Renee’s photos they are far from startling, and do not indicate any radical plastic surgery. Poor Renee apparently showed up at a time when there was a shortage of gossip and EVERYBOY copied each other with the “story.” Renee happens to be one of the nicest and least pretentious actresses around – what happened to everybody’s MANNERS? She looks fine – and natural. Talking about plastic surgery is fun – but cruel comments about women are just WRONG.

NICK CANNON IS ACTUALLY QUITE A CATCH

Nick Cannon has something that Kanye West will never have: manners. According to naughtybutnicerob.com, Nick was flying solo when a snarky flight attendant quite deliberately called him “Mr Carey.” Nick COULD have reacted in any number of ways, but he chose to keep silent and simply give the steward a meaningful LOOK. Imagine what would have happened to a guy who referred to Kanye West as “Mr Kardashian.” (We have to make an exception for that bozo in Beverly Hills who insulted Kim with the n-word among other things. He had it coming.)

SHARON OSBOURNE DOESN’T LOVE HER NEIGHBORS

We think this little story from the About Town section of The Hollywood Reporter is character-revealing. Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne finally unloaded their 13 million dollar Hidden Hills home to Jessica Simpson, but the deal was held up by a dispute over the rear property line. The owners of the land behind the Osbournes actually owned some of what the Osbournes thought was theirs. They arranged a meeting to create an easement and according to an eyewitness source, Sharon told her neighbors “Don’t you little people have anything better to do with your little lives?”

Keanu Reeves Manners Subway

The last time we saw Keanu Reeves, 47, on the New York subway was in December, when somebody secretly filmed him with an iPhone. Keanu offered his seat to a woman carrying a large bag and she accepted without realizing who he was. The snippet of film got Keanu a lot of praise for his good manners. Polite celebrities are always a delight, (Are you listening Lindsay?) Keanu credits his manners to his English mother. The photo above of Keanu reading the newspaper on the subway was lifted from Facebook. 23 years after the first “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure,” a third film is actually in the works. The reclusive Keanu also has a fantasy action film “47 Ronin” coming out in February.

"The Big Miss" Book Coach Hank Haney Manners Tell Alls Tiger Woods

SEX ISN’T TIGER WOODS’ ONLY PROBLEM

Tiger Woods should have been nicer to his former golf swing coach Hank Haney because the observant coach who was with him for six years, has written a tell-all book called “The Big Miss.” The NY Post revealed in an excerpt that coach Haney says that Tiger refers to his hired help as “friends” but doesn’t treat them that way. The coach says that when Tiger finished his dinner in a restaurant – and he was a fast eater – he’d get up and leave without a word and expect everyone to follow, even if they were still eating. And that included his wife Elin! And Tiger thought it was funny to be cheap – when they got takeout, Haney would have to pick up the food and pay for it too. Tiger also had a mean sense of humor – at one tournament Tiger had to share a room with another golfer who happened to be a devout Christian. Tiger immediately purchased the adult-movie 24 hour package and turned the TV on. He thought it was hilarious watching the guy ignore the porn and try to act natural. Not really that surprising, we never thought good manners and good sense were Tiger’s thing.
