SLIMMING DOWN GAVE KELLY OSBOURNE A WHOLE NEW LIFE

Kelly Osbourne can’t believe how her life has changed since she lost between 28 and 42 pounds. Not only does she have more fun shopping, but she’s been asked to model in fashion shows. The ultimate compliment came when Madonna asked her to replace Taylor Momsen as spokesperson for Madonna and Lourdes’s fashion collection Material Girl. Why Taylor Momsen, 17, now on “indefinite hiatus” from Gossip Girl, lost her job after less than five months is not known.

There’s a REASON why “Gossip Girl” Taylor Momsen ,17, towers over everyone in this photo. Actually she’s around 5’8”, but her incredible pistol platform heels add another eight-plus inches. She’s pictured here tottering out of Radio One studios in the UK where she performed with her band “Pretty Reckless.” Presumably she’ll hook up with Madonna and Lourdes while she’s in town – Taylor is the spokes- model for their Material Girl fashion line.

MACY’S SHOPPERS LOVE LOURDES AND MADONNA’S MATERIAL GIRL FASHIONS

Madonna and Lourdes’ Material Girl clothing collection debuted at Macy’s in New York and it’s a hit. Girls and women mobbed the store at opening time and the Material Girl department was jampacked. Free cupcakes with sprinkles were served and Madonna music played nonstop, but both designers are apparently still in Europe. Official Material Girl spokes model Taylor Momsen gave a free concert in the store the same evening. Mothers were thrilled with the $12 to $40 price tags and daughters stocked up. It’s a large and continuously changing collection – where will Lourdes and Madonna find the time?

MACY’S IS PUTTING BIG BUCKS BEHIND LOURDES LEON

Madonna’s almost 14 year old daughter Lourdes is well on her way to becoming a fashion icon for her age group. The editor of Teen Vogue says their readers are OBSESSED with Lourdes’ style – “she’s gorgeous, she’s cool, and she has her mother’s rebellious spirit.” Lola travels a lot and represents multicultural style – she is the creative force behind Macy’s new MG collection (Material Girl.) Macy’s is devoting 4000 sq ft of their NY flagship store to her collection which retails from $12 to $40. The store is trying something they’ve never done in their 152 year history- they will be stocking new Material Girl pieces on a daily basis to compete with fast fashion retailers like H&M and Forever 21. THAT’S how much they believe in Lourdes! It premiers August 3.

LOURDES IS DESIGNING THE “MATERIAL GIRL” COLLECTION FOR MACY’S

Madonna’s daughter Lourdes (AKA Lola) has been accepted into The High School of Performing Arts in New York and her artistic talents are already blossoming. Lola and her mother are collaborating on a fashion line called “Material Girl” aimed at 13 to 25 year olds, set to premier at Macy’s this fall. Madonna says Lola is doing most of the design work while she covers the business end. The collection of clothing and accessories will be sensibly priced at $12 to $40. As you can see above, Lola is prone to “borrowing” things from her mother’s closet.
