Meg Ryan might be feeling a tiny bit self-conscious since the news leaked out that Harvey Weinstein was obsessed with her. A female producer admitted that she was at a screening of Meg’s 2006 film “In The Cut” with Weinstein and she never forgot it. Meg always had a “no nudity “ clause in her contracts and this was the first film where she took her clothes off. John Mellencamp Meg Ryan Together Again

SURPRISE! MEG RYAN DOESN’T “HATE” JOHN MELLENCAMP!

Living in different states was apparently not enough to keep John Mellencamp and Meg Ryan apart. After 3 years together they split in 2014 and a few months ago John went on the Howard Stern show and talked about it. He admitted he was a lousy boyfriend and had tried to win her back without success. John lamented “I loved Meg Ryan but she hates me to death! She wants nothing to do with me!” Meg was listening and we think she called to say she didn’t “hate him” and one thing led to another….

MEG RYAN HAS A FEW TRICKS UP HER SLEEVE

We love seeing Meg Ryan and her daughter Daisy 12, walking around and shopping in New York – they always seem to have fun together. We didn’t realize it, but when Meg isn’t acting she’s flipping properties in New York. Very HGTV. She buys dated condos and lofts and totally redesigns and redecorates and puts them on the market for a hefty profit. So far she’s turned over eight homes. Meg also has a new comedy series coming soon on EPIX called Picture Paris. It’s about a suburban housewife whose children have grown – she takes her dream vacation in Paris, hoping to rekindle some heat with her husband, and unexpected things happen.

THAT rumor has resurfaced again and it’s not so far-fetched. We’re talking about Russell Crowe and Meg Ryan. You might remember their whirlwind romance around 15 years ago when they filmed “Proof of Life” together. Meg called the scandalous romance off, but she did split with her cheating husband Dennis Quaid not long after. Since then, Russell has married and divorced and Meg recently split with John Mellencamp. They are both single and in New York and Crowe’s friends say that after a few drinks he reminisces very fondly about Meg and would love to hook up again. Meg and Russell are both older and wiser now, so who knows?

Meg Ryan and her son Jack Quaid, 23, always look like they’re having fun when they hang out together. Meg lives in New York with her daughter Daisy and she came back to her former hometown Brentwood to spend time with Jack. In 2015 Meg directed and starred in Ithaca, a drama set in the 1940’s. Her old pal Tom Hanks and Sam Shepard also starred, along with Jack, who was appropriately cast as her character’s son. Jack’s acting career is hotter than his mom’s – after The Hunger Games, he landed a role on the hot new HBO series Vinyl, produced by Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger. It’s all about the music business in the tumultuous 1970’s, and it’s rumored that David Bowie appears on one episode.

Meg Ryan, 53, ditched her combat boots and sensible urban wear to attend the Schiaparelli catwalk show during Paris Fashion Week and she looks sensational. She’s actually wearing a Schiaparelli gown designed to her specification. Meg likes simplicity and this navy bias cut dress in no way resembles the heavily embellished and extravagant gowns in the show. Meg has a very specific style and doesn’t just wear anything that’s given to her.

MEG RYAN’S SON JACK ALREADY HAS AN EDUCATION AND A CAREER

We told you “Hamilton “ was the hottest ticket in New York – Cher saw the show this weekend and so did Meg Ryan and her tall son Jack Quaid. Jack, 23, is still studying at NYU but he makes a living as an actor. He appeared in the two Hunger Games movies as a villain and he has four independent films coming out this year. Meg looks adorable as usual in her Comme Des Garcons inspired outfit.

It’s definitely not over. It really never was. Meg Ryan and John Mellencamp simply took a break to see if they could handle a long distance romance. John lives in Indiana and does NOT want to move to New York where Meg and her kids live.
