MERCY AND LOURDES BOTH OUTDRESSED MADONNA
Filed Under: Fashion > Lourdes Ciccone Leon > Madonna > Mercy James
Madonna’s adopted daughter Mercy is clearly adapting quickly to the good life in New York. Note the Stella McCartney band jacket she’s wearing. She and her sister Lourdes show a real sense of style on a recent family outing to the Kabbalah center. Surprisingly, Madonna was questionably attired in an Ed Hardy hat and Shirt.

MADONNA MADE 80 CHILDREN IN AFRICA HAPPY
Filed Under: Christmas > Madonna > Mercy James

Madonna didn’t TOTALLY rule out gifts this Christmas. She made sure the children left behind in the African orphanage where she adopted Mercy all had a great Christmas, even though it’s against her religion. All 80 children feasted on soda, hamburgers, chocolate, and cake for the holiday, provided by Madonna. They also received Croc shoes and various toys with gift tags that read “Love from Mercy.” Sweet, huh?

MADONNA AND MERCY JOIN THE RITCHIES IN LONDON

A few days ago, Guy Ritchie arrived in the UK with his sons Rocco and David and today Madonna flew in with Mercy. Apparently Lourdes is spending the holidays with her father Carlos Leon in New York. It looks like Madonna and Guy’s kids will be having a Kabbalah holiday celebration of some sort together in London– probably with their divorced parents. Very civilized.

MADONNA IS TRUSSED UP FOR KABBALAH
Filed Under: Kabbalah > Lourdes Ciccone Leon > Madonna > Mercy James

There are a few significant things to point out in this photograph of Madonna taking her family to a Kabbalah meeting in London. First of all, four year old Mercy has become a Kabbalah regular, proving you are never too young for this type of brainwashing. Secondly, Madonna appears to be wearing a high-rise girdle or waist cincher over her sweater. Interesting outfit. Third, Lourdes is now taller than her mother, who is wearing high heels.

MERCY IS BETTER OFF WITH MADONNA
Filed Under: Adoption > Denial > Madonna > Malawi > Mercy James

If Malawi officials really stick to their guns and refuse to allow Madonna to adopt Mercy James, it’s really a travesty and a crime against the little girl. (Mercy, above, is holding hands with Lourdes.) The welfare of this child should be considered first and bureaucracy and prejudices set aside. What chance does this child in an orphanage have if she remains in the poorest country in South Africa? It’s an AIDS ridden place where women have few rights, are routinely beaten by their husbands, and their life expectancy is 38. Regardless of what one thinks of Madonna, her children are well taken care of and educated. Give Mercy a chance for a life.
