And his fashion choices are never boring. But one of Mickey’s longtime and BEST friends is a hair stylist – they see each other frequently. Why doesn’t Mickey’s stylist pal step in and help Mickey with his HAIR? He has an assortment of unnatural looking wigs that desperately need attention. Regardless, Mickey has several movies in the works – some horror, and even a romantic comedy.

It’s difficult to fire your hairdresser when you’ve been friends for decades, but it’s time for Mickey Rourke to make a change. He’s given up on his own hair augmentation and taken to wearing wigs for the past few years. He has quite a variety in an assortment of colors, but they all share one trait- they look fake. And it’s not doing his career any good – his next two films are horror movies.

He’s had multiple facelifts and injectibles. His face changes each time we see it – not to mention his HAIR. He has quite a wardrobe of wigs now, but it must be hard to get acting jobs. He’s probably the most tragic male plastic surgery victim in Hollywood. But he’s still fascinating.

But the odd thing is the (cloudy) bottle of water in his hand. Who brings their own bottle of water to an upscale restaurant? Granted, California has been plagued by drought, but this is a first.

JOHNNY HALLYDAY AND MICKEY ROURKE : TWO OF A KIND?

French singer Johnny Hallyday and Mickey Rourke hung out in front of Mr Chow having a smoke before they went inside for dinner. They almost costarred with Christopher Walken in an untitled gangster movie in 2010. Johnny always wanted to be an actor and admired Mickey’s career. The film was about a New Jersey crime family seeking to expand internationally. For some reason, the movie never got made, but Johnny and Mickey became friends and frequently see each other both in Paris and LA.

Mickey Rourke’s looks never cease to fascinate. A few years back he started experimenting with hair extensions. We imagine his close friend and hairdresser Giuseppe Franco has fun dreaming up new hair augmentations for his actor buddy. Extensions can be difficult to conceal and Mickey often wore a knit cap. Maybe that’s why he moved on to wigs. And he has quite a collection of hair colors and styles in his wigs – salt and pepper, blonde highlights, and sometimes a bouffant style.

We had to laugh when Mickey Rourke agreed that boxer Manny Pacquiao’s anti gay remarks were “outta line.” Mickey added jokingly, “and I’m a little bit gay myself!” He was entering The Nice Guy in Hollywood and playfully flashed a pair of brass knuckles at the paparazzi. Mickey claims it was boxing and the resulting need for plastic surgery that spoiled his pretty-boy good looks and thus robbed him of romantic leading man roles. His next two movies are Tiger (about a boxer) and Weaponized, an action thriller. No love scenes there.

Mickey Rourke’s flight landed at LAX and he was met with a wheelchair. He’s wearing a jacket with an enormous hood to hide his face. What’s going on? He was pushed all the way through the terminal to his ride outside with his hood covering his face. Was he injured in a fight or something? Did he have more plastic surgery? Hair transplants? Why isn’t he walking? Maybe he thought he’d walk into a wall with his face covered. Anyway, he returned in time for turkey day.

Maybe he’s between movies because it looks like Mickey Rourke, 63, got Justin Bieber’s asymmetrical haircut. His movie Ashby is coming out this week, and it’s a comedy, of all things. Mickey plays a retired CIA assassin who befriends and becomes a mentor to a nerdy teenage boy who moves next door. Sarah Silverman plays the kid’s single mother. Ironically, Mickey even teaches the kid to box.
