GENE SIMMONS LEARNED THE HARD WAY THAT SOMETIMES LESS IS MORE

Last year (long before the pandemic) we told you that disgruntled Trump supporter Gene Simmons put his Beverly Hills mansion on the market for 22 million dollars because he’s moving to Washington to escape California taxes. It seems nobody wanted to buy it until the Altman Bros from Million Dollar Listing got their hands on the listing. They observed that the 16,000 sq ft house was packed to the rafters with KISS paraphernalia and souvenirs – gold and platinum records covered the walls up and down the stairs. The house also had WAY too much ostentatious furniture in every room. The Altmans decluttered the whole place – removed every trace of KISS, and replaced Gene’s decor with sleek minimalist furniture. After the “renovation” they upped the price and put the house on the market for 25 million!

CAITLYN JENNER’S STYLE INSPIRATION?

Has anyone noticed how much Caitlyn Jenner seems to dress like and resemble former Real Housewives of NYC star Kelly Bensimon? At first glance, we thought this WAS Caitlyn Jenner, but in fact, it is Kelly. Kelly has long since moved on from the Housewives and now she’s in the real estate business. She joined the same firm as Fredrik Eklund and Josh Altman and will appear on Million Dollar Listing with them. The male dominated show can certainly use a powerful woman.

IT’S A HAPPY ENDING FOR LUIS D. ORTIZ, AFTER ALL

If you happened to miss the last episode of Million Dollar Listing New York last season, then YOU have probably also been wondering what happened to Luis D.Ortiz – the cute short broker. He was replaced this season by model-turned-realtor Steve Gold. Happily, Luis didn’t get fired – he actually left the show AND the real estate business because he was “not happy” and he explained it all on the final episode. Luis took off for Europe to have some fun and think about a new career- perhaps film directing. The new guy Steve Gold seems to be bringing some serious competition to established brokers Fredrik Eklund and Ryan Serhant.

FREDRIK EKLUND: LIVIN’ IT UP ON THOSE MILLION DOLLAR LISTING COMMISSIONS!

Little did 6’5” realtor Fredrik Eklund, 39, realize in 2010 how much his life would change when he signed to appear on Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing NYC. It might be the best thing that’s ever happened to him. Business boomed, and he sold properties worth millions. Big commissions poured in. Three years ago he married his boyfriend Derek Kaplan and they’ve been living quite happily ever after. They spent this past week vacationing in Portofino, Italy, with friends and Fredrik posted happy photos of the luxurious trip.

Josh and Matt Altman Million Dollar Listing Restraining Order

STRANGER THAN FICTION: MILLION DOLLAR LISTING ALTMAN BROTHERS ACCUSE DERMATOLOGIST OF DEATH THREATS

Imagine our surprise when we learned that Million Dollar Listing realtors Josh Altman and his brother Matt found it necessary to get a RESTRAINING ORDER against well-known Los Angeles dermatologist Dr Alex Khadavi! Matt claimed that Alex approached him at a real estate event and made anti-Semitic death threats. Khadavi supposedly blurted that he hated all Jews and that he was going to kill Matt! We simply HAD to dig up the story BEHIND this confrontation! It seems that Matt and Alex have clashed before – over WOMEN! Yes, they have competed for the SAME women more than once! So there IS some bad blood. Alex says he innocently went to an open house with his decorator and when Matt and Josh saw him, they had him thrown out. Naturally he wasn’t happy. What makes this situation crazy is that it’s not commonly known, but the dangerous dermatologist Alex Khadavi is Jewish himself. Makes you WONDER….

Chad Rogers Dogs Million Dollar Listing Real Estate

HEY, IT’S THE NEW AND IMPROVED CHAD ROGERS FROM MILLION DOLLAR LISTING!

Former “Million Dollar Listing” realtor Chad Rogers is an interesting character. There was a lot of speculation about why he left the successful show after two seasons. Chad says he quit to concentrate on his work. Bravo implied that it was a mutual decision, and when gossip writers quoted Bravo, they got threatening lawyer letters from Chad insisting they retract, so they did. He is certainly a sensitive guy. Since he left the show, Chad looks like he added a lot of muscle and grew out his Bieber style bangs. He brought the love of his life, his little dog Starla, to the Pumpkin Patch!

Million dollar Listing realtor Fredrik Eklund and his husband, artist Derek Kaplan, took a walk on the beach in Miami. The pair got married on season 2 of the show last year between real estate deals. The outspoken Fredrik, who was born in Sweden, has developed QUITE a physique. He IS, after all, a former porn star. We are a little alarmed by his overdeveloped pecs, and wonder if he’s been pumping up with too many Human Growth Hormones….

Former Million Dollar Listing star Chad Rogers, 33, partied at Chateau Marmont with no chance of his skinny pants falling down. He wore suspenders AND a belt. We do like the bow tie. According to Chad’s website, he closed on over 80 million dollars worth of property in 2010. He took that money and bought himself a 2 bedroom, 1700 sq ft condo for $850,000 near the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. He and his chihuahua Starla have moved in. Oh, and he paid CASH. Who needs reality TV?

Bravo Chad Rogers Million Dollar Listing Quit

WHY CHAD ROGERS LEFT “MILLION DOLLAR LISTING” IS STILL A MYSTERY

Chad Rogers’ departure from “Million Dollar Listing” remains something of a mystery – but his lawyer is hell-bent on controlling everything that’s written about it. Reporter Rob Owen at the Pittsburgh Post – Gazette quoted Bravo’s president as saying that Chad’s departure was a “mutual” decision. Chad’s lawyer went nuts and sent a threatening letter to Owen accusing him of false allegations and insisted that it was solely Chad’s decision to leave the series – Bravo wanted him to stay. Touchy. Touchy. Chad says since his name became “internationally recognized” he is far too busy with his real estate. The somewhat narcissistic realtor remarked “I wish I could clone myself so I could do everything, but there is only one Chad Rogers.” (He refers to himself in the third person?) We will miss him because it was so much fun speculating about his sexual preference. (He and his TV girlfriend have since broken up.) Hopefully, we will eventually run into talkative Bravo VP Andy Cohen and get more details.

What are the chances of catching Kim Zolciak from The Real Housewives of Atlanta having lunch with Chad Rogers of Million Dollar Listing? Pretty good, lately. Apparently the Bravo pair have been seen shopping as well as dining at Mr Chow because they’ve realized that they get more attention together than they do separately! As far as photographs go, two reality stars are better than one. Most recently they were spotted at Cafe Med on Sunset Strip and both were camera-ready, of course.
