HOW DESPERATE ARE THE NFL AND CBS TO HAVE TAYLOR SWIFT AT THE SUPER BOWL?

Here’s a late breaking update we just HAD to share. Travis Kelce and his mom Donna both made the news today with their “offhand comments” about Taylor Swift possibly not attending the Super Bowl -or even is she does attend, not having a private suite at the game. Here’s what we know: As we previously reported, Taylor was negotiating with the NFL and network (CBS) for transportation to and from the game AND a private suite at the game. She knows her presence will likely generate MILLIONS in revenue from increased ratings. Since she’s yet to get what she wants, she strategically put the word out via Travis and Donna that she just might NOT show up. Our source says the league and network REALLY want her to come, so they’re likely to give Taylor (and her millions of fans) whatever she’s asking for to get her to attend. Expect an announcement soon.

According to my source, Taylor has a special SURPRISE planned for the moms: matching diamond bracelets! Taylor shelled out $58,000 each (that’s a total of $116,000 plus tax) for two matching 18k Cartier Love bracelets each dripping with 216 diamonds! Considering Taylor has just reached BILLIONAIRE status, that’s a drop in the bucket, but nonetheless a huge gesture -considering the romance is relatively new. My source suspects that 34-year-old Taylor is ready to settle down and it looks like Travis might just be the one who snags her -but only time will tell.

ELON MUSK: SUPERHERO OR SUPERVILLAIN?

We’re not sure what to be most surprised about: the fact that Elon Musk went to the Abracadabra store in the Flatiron district in NYC and bought an elaborate costume called The Devil’s Champion Leather Armor set for $7500 to wear to Heidi Klum’s Halloween party, OR the fact that he went to the party with his MOTHER, Maye Musk. The costume had odd symbols on it (including an upside down cross) and online observers (trolls?) are already making negative predictions and remarks about Musk’s supposedly dark character and linking everything to Twitter. We happen to think he’s fascinating and would not mind getting to know him…

It’s not often that you see a movie star take her child to school almost every day and pick him up after school. But that’s what Jennifer Garner has always done- first with her daughters, Violet and Seraphina, and now with her youngest son, 10 year old Sam. Garner always wanted her kids to have lives as normal as possible. She’s very involved in their schools and delivers them to after school activities herself. When she divorced Ben Affleck in 2015, she remained friends and continues to include him in their children’s lives. Her kids don’t know how lucky they are! According to RadarOnline, Lady Gaga’s non-profit charity Born This Way (she started it with her mom) was actually quite profitable – and Gaga’s mother Cynthia Germanotta enjoyed a $200,000 salary for her work there as president. Born This Way raised over 12 million dollars between 2015 and 2019 and their rather vague goal was “to support the mental health of young people and work with them to create a kinder world.” A 2019 tax filing indicates that the charity took in $3,609,947 for the year, but after office expenses they only paid out $149,914 in grants! Makes you wonder…

MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY QUARANTINES IN ALL THE RIGHT PLACES

We feel more than a twinge of envy for Matthew McConaughey’s new $7.85 million dollar vacation home in Hawaii. The 7000 sq ft home sits on an acre with magnificent ocean views and a huge infinity pool. 6 bedrooms and 6 1/2 bathrooms, including TWO master suites and a media room. Matthew pulled his 89 year old mother Kay out of her retirement community during the pandemic, and she’s been quarantining with Matthew, his wife Camila, their three kids, and four dogs. Luckily, his mom and Camila struck up nice friendship. We have a feeling mom will be claiming that second master.

We are always astonished at what a loving and caring mother Jennifer Garner seems to be. And she’s a MOVIE STAR, to boot! Regular everyday moms are rarely as attentive to their children- Jennifer walks or drives her three kids to school every day and picks them up after school. When she’s not available, their father Ben Affleck does the job. She also escorts them to and from church every Sunday. These lucky kids must really feel loved. It also illustrates Ben Affleck’s recent comment that his divorce from Jennifer is the biggest regret of his life.
