STALLONE: NO LONGER A KNOW-IT-ALL?

Sylvester Stallone did a surprisingly candid interview with James Hibbard at The Hollywood Reporter, and it brought back some memories. Sly admitted that he was obnoxious and “thought he knew everything” when he became successful. Back in the day, his biggest competitor was Arnold Schwarzenegger- (it so happens I introduced them when we were all walking out of a screening in the late 70’s.) They became rivals and Arnold admitted to faking interest in a dud movie (Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot) to lure Sly into pouncing on the role. Sly went so far as to pay a UK writer to write a book about Arnold’s father, who was a Nazi, figuring it would kill his career. (It didn’t, and Arnold is quite the opposite of his father) Now that both actors are older – they realize they have a lot in common and are good friends. They like smoking cigars together.

Haley Joel Osment Height Challenged Nazi

HALEY JOEL OSMENT AND THE CHILD STAR CURSE

When Haley Joel Osment’s name comes up, we always think of him as the sensitive kid in “The Sixth Sense.” Of course, he’s 26 and grown up now and currently filming Kevin Smith’s “Yoga Hosers” with Johnny Depp. Paparazzi caught him on the set in what appears to be a Nazi uniform. Can you imagine a Nazi with that little face and only 5’4” tall? He suffers from the child star curse of being very short.

Bob Hope Collectibles Dolores Hope Nazi Thanks for the Memories WWII

BOB HOPE’S WWII NAZI COLLECTION IS COMING ON THE MARKET

Now that Dolores Hope has passed away, Bob Hope’s massive collection of WWII and Nazi memorabilia worth millions will be sold, and collectors are already licking their chops. The collection has long been housed in a vault in Palm Springs, and it’s legendary among knowledgeable dealers. Hope was in Europe performing with the USO for years, and he was given many souvenirs by the allied forces at the end of WWII. These included personal property confiscated from captured Nazis- – uniforms, medals, weapons, I.D.cards – even Hitler’s stationery. Some of the rare articles – like Hope’s Nazi decanter, were left behind in Hitler’s bunker after allied troops overran it. Bob was certainly never a Nazi sympathizer, but he saw the historic value of the items he collected. Dolores didn’t want to deal with the valuable collection while she was alive even though Jesse James, among others, made attempts to buy it. Jesse James Michelle "Bombshell" McGee Nazi Sandra Bullock White Power

JESSE JAMES IS NO STRANGER TO SWASTIKAS

When Nazi-themed photos of Jesse James’ mistress Michelle “Bombshell” McGee surfaced, it may have surprised US, but it’s nothing new to HIM. Michelle appeared in Nazi regalia and sports a W and a P tattoo that stand for “white power.” The symbols of Jesse’s carefully calculated biker lifestyle are Nazi era signs and symbols, hateful attitudes, and a tough guy persona. Jesse designed the logo for his West Coast Choppers merchandise to look like an iron cross – a German wartime military medal associated with white supremacy. One of Jesse’s best friends, who has guested on his TV show, reportedly has a big Nazi flag on his living room wall. Jesse has built up a “motorcycle outlaw” image that has earned him LOADS of money from people who might take this macho posturing more seriously than he does.
