They’re both in their mid-fifties and are dads to young children, so they want to make sure their kids are protected if something were to happen. They’ve always been close, but since becoming fathers they’ve really bonded. They recently met with their attorneys to make it legal.

Parisians were NOT happy when the Prime Minister cancelled elaborate plans for a flamboyant New Year’s Eve 2022 at Champs Elysees due to the resurgence of Covid. Three popular DJs had been hired to provide music and fireworks were promised at the Arc de Triomphe every hour. Surrounding cafes and restaurants were all taking part in the festive evening. Arrive early because the lavish, huge, and amazing Orpheum Theater from Hollywood’s golden era is a joy to investigate (that ladies room!) Dita’s musical burlesque show is SO appropriate to the era and quite beautiful – not at all vulgar.

If you were wondering where Nicolas Cage spent New Year’s Eve, wonder no more. He surprised locals at a tiny pub in the rather obscure Somerset village of Baltonsborough in the UK. Nic has owned a getaway cottage in the vicinity since 2006, and sometimes slides into town to spend the holidays there. He bought a round of drinks for his delighted neighbors in the pub and posed for selfies.

We couldn’t help but laugh when we heard that Rosie O’Donnell and six “casually dressed” friends were turned away by security guards at the door at Sean “Diddy” Combs’ fancy Miami New Year’s Eve party. We picture Rosie’s buddies as being no-nonsense hefty athletic girls like herself – dressed in t shirts, baggy shorts and crocs. No makeup or stilettos there. Uninformed guards would certainly be prone to refuse entrance to such a group – they know their boss Diddy favors sexy hot young girls. Maybe if the gals had dressed for the occasion it would have been a different story.

Boxoffice Movies New Year's Eve Review Valentines Day

“NEW YEAR’S EVE” FLOPPED BECAUSE THE AUDIENCE REMEMBERED HOW BAD “VALENTINES DAY ” WAS

There’s a good reason why the box office returns this past weekend were at a record low: the new releases were incredibly bad. “New Year’s Eve” only pulled in $13.7 million dollars (Jonah Hill’s poorly reviewed “The Sitter” took second place with 10 million.) Last February the same team who did “New Year’s Eve” released the similar “Valentine’s Day” to an opening of $56.3 million. So why didn’t the audience flock to see this year’s Garry Marshall star studded extravaganza? Because the audience REMEMBERED how disappointing “Valentines Day” was. A multitude of attractive stars (above) cannot save a LAME script and a tired predictable story. Hopefully the movie audience is actually getting smarter about their choices.
