The new Vanity Fair magazine article about Scientology is bound to have two famous readers – Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes. Tom Cruise’s ex-wives are both unable to speak their minds about the cult but they are relieved when information is revealed. And since Vanity Fair is such a respected publication, people are taking notice. Both of them are aware they met Tom while “auditioning” for him. Nicole knows her children Connor and Bella were turned against her when she left Scientology. She was named a “suppressive person” and they avoid her company. Katie didn’t want that to happen to her, so she orchestrated her divorce so that she has more control over Suri’s life. These two women know they must remain silent about the subject of Scientology because they still fear repercussions. And they are NOT in communication with each other.

KATIE HOLMES AND NICOLE KIDMAN ARE NOT PALS BUT THEY BOTH SHARE A FEAR OF SCIENTOLOGY

Anybody who believes that Katie Holmes had ANY contact with Tom Cruise’s ex-wife Nicole Kidman during the process of her split with Tom is 100% WRONG. Nicole is afraid to even SAY the word “Scientology” – she is grateful to have escaped without even more severe retribution and stays as far away from the cult as possible. (She did lose her adopted children thanks to Scientology.) She would never have connived with Katie against Tom, although she certainly watched Katie’s departure with interest. In case you haven’t noticed, Katie has discreetly never so much as mentioned “Scientology” during the split and she never will. She’s very smart to avoid antagonizing the Scientologists more than she already has.

Cannes Keith Urban Movies Nicole Kidman Zac Efron

NICOLE KIDMAN: HER MOVIE “THE PAPERBOY” IS DEBATABLE, HER MARRIAGE IS NOT….

Nicole Kidman married the right man this time around. She arrived at the Cannes premier of her steamy Southern noir film “The Paperboy” with hubby Keith Urban sweetly carrying her handbag for her. Tom Cruise didn’t do that – he had a Scientologist do the carrying. Unfortunately, much of the stuffy audience at Cannes laughed at the wrong times during Nicole’s movie. It’s had mixed reviews to say the least – the movie was described as “so bad it’s good,” and “queasily funny” (especially the scene where Nicole’s character pees on Zac Efron’s character after he’s bitten by a jelly fish.) although some observers really liked it. Everyone who saw it agreed the actor’s performances were exceptional.

It’s hard to imagine, but every year she personally bakes a cake for Keith and his friends in AA on the anniversary of his giving up drinking. She bakes it, but she never eats any of it!

HOW SCIENTOLOGY CLEVERLY SPIED ON TOM CRUISE

Nicole Kidman was RIGHT about Scientology. According to Tony Ortega in the Village Voice, in the years Nicole was with Tom Cruise (1990 – 2001) she and her family pressured Tom to pull away from Scientology and they were labeled “suppressive persons” (people critical of Scientology.) It so happens Tom DID become estranged from the church during that time and church leader David Miscavige was apoplectic. So he planted a ‘spy’ in Tom’s house in the form of a personal assistant named Michael Doven. Doven worked tirelessly for Tom during those years and secretly reported daily to Miscavige. He learned about any problems in the Cruise household and Miscavige adjusted his dealings with Tom accordingly. With the help of Doven, Cruise was pulled back into the church after his divorce from Nicole. Now, of course, Tom and Miscavige are best buddies again.

Sunday, with the braids, turns 3 on July 4, and her little sister Faith is 5 months old. Nicole, 43, gave birth to Sunday, but Faith was born by “gestational carrier.” That is the term used when it is both parents’ biological child carried by a third person – a “surrogate” can have different parents.

Our intrepid reporter friend Nelson Aspen related this news on his Australian morning show SUNRISE. He assumed Nicole was pregnant. TMZ must have heard about the news and checked it out with Nicole and Keith, who admitted they’d had a daughter by surrogate 3 weeks ago. (They are the biological parents) The Urbans had not planned to go public with the story so soon – and may have sold the scoop to a magazine. Leaks happen.

Tom Cruise has been quite successful in leading his son Connor, 15, into Scientology. Aspiring actor Connor has been taking advanced courses on the Scientology ship in Florida – specifically dealing with “leadership” and “competence.” Tom’s daughter Isabella, 18, despite her Scientology home education, is not so interested in the cult and seems to be drifting away. In fact, she would prefer to live with her adoptive mother Nicole Kidman. Whether she gets her way remains to be seen.

The women all look awesome, but do we really need an excuse to publish another photo of Daniel Day- Lewis? We always select full length pictures of Daniel because his deliciously foppish wardrobe is dependably noteworthy. We’re crazy about those high rise pin stripe pants and the velvet jacket with pagoda shoulders. He doesn’t disappoint.
