CAN OPRAH PUT CHER’S FAMILY BACK TOGETHER?

Cher is Turning 78-years-old on May 20, and all she wants for her birthday is to reconcile with her kids, Chaz and Elijah Blue. Now here’s where it gets interesting. Cher has turned to her longtime pal, Oprah Winfrey, for help! Cher and Oprah go back for decades, developing a friendship after numerous appearances on Oprah’s former daytime talk show. In fact, Cher and her then daughter Chastity who later transitioned into Chaz, appeared on Oprah to talk about their complicated mother/daughter relationship. Oprah has advised Cher through the years, so once again she’s turned to her for help on how to put her family back together. Don’t be too surprised if it happens, and we expect to see Cher and her kids talking about it on one of Oprah’s regular television interview specials.

OPRAH WINFREY WILL NOT GAIN THAT WEIGHT BACK

For decades, Oprah Winfrey has had two large closets, one for her fat clothes, and one for her skinny clothes. It’s no secret how Oprah‘s weight has fluctuated through the years, but now that she’s incorporated the weight loss drug Ozempic into her diet, she intends to keep the weight OFF. How serious is she about staying skinny in her 70s? According to our source, Oprah recently donated ALL of her fat clothes anonymously to a charity that helps battered women get back into the workforce. Oprah has never done this before – previously opting to hold onto some of her larger things just in case she gained the weight back. But this time she intends to STAY skinny, which is why she cleaned out her closets for good.

TABLE TALK AT THE GOLDEN GLOBES: OZEMPIC

Move over Oppenheimer and beat it Barbie, (not to mention Taylor Swift and Timothee and Kylie) the TALK of this year’s Golden Globes was OZEMPIC! According to our spy who attended the Globes, most of the table chatter wasn’t about the movies or performances, but about everyone’s experiences with the miracle weight loss drug that seems to have taken over Hollywood. While a few guests, like Oprah Winfrey, have publicly copped to taking the medication, many of those attendance felt comfortable enough to exchange info about their personal journey. To no one’s surprise, our spy also revealed that the majority of the food served at the ceremony seemed to go UNTOUCHED!

The problem is Jessica didn’t realize HOW powerful Oprah is, and her company wasn’t prepared for the flood of nonstop orders. According to an insider, there are SO many orders backed up for the holiday family pajamas that some customers won’t get them in time for their holiday photos or Christmas cards. Frantic Jessica had to hire more people to handle all the unexpected business and complaints about late shipping.

Oprah Winfrey is HOPING to score what could be one of her biggest interviews ever – a sit-down with Britney Spears and her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake. Britney made headlines with the bombshells regarding Justin in her memoir, The Woman In Me, with the most shocking being her secret at home abortion at 19. While Justin has remained tight lipped on the subject, Oprah thinks she can heal the pain between them with a joint interview. She envisions ratings that could rival those from her chat with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. So far neither Britney nor Justin has agreed but relentless Oprah isn’t one to give up.

GOVERNOR GAVIN NEWSOM HAS HIS EYE ON TWO WOMEN

California’s Governor Gavin Newsom has a dilemma and he’s hoping either Oprah Winfrey or NETFLIX can help him. With the passing of Senator Dianne Feinstein today , it’s up to Newsom to appoint someone to fill her senate seat temporarily until the next election. He has said that he plans to appoint a black woman who will agree to take over the remainder of Dianne’s term and NOT run in 2024 – so that excludes current candidate, Representative Barbara Lee. (Since Barbara is already running against fellow Representatives, Adam Schiff and Katie Porter for the seat, Gavin felt it would give her an unfair advantage if he appoints her now.). Which leads to his dilemma. Gavin wants to appoint Oprah to the seat, but she previously said she had NO political aspirations. Unless he can coax Oprah into changing her mind, his plan B is Nicole Avant. Nicole is married to Netflix’s CEO Ted Sarandos and was a former Ambassador to the Bahamas appointed under Barack Obama. Our political source says that Oprah and Nicole are on the top of a short list of black women Gavin is considering.

OPRAH IS RAKING IN THE BUCKS FOR MAUI

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle quietly made a $250,000 donation to Oprah Winfrey’s efforts to raise money for Maui. Oprah has a sprawling 2000 plus acre estate on the tropical island and her Montecito, California neighbors Harry and Meg have a standing invitation to use the property whenever they want. According to a friend, Harry and Meghan were actually planning to spend Christmas with her mom and some friends at Oprah’s Maui home. Those plans have been paused for now, while the island heals from the devastating fires. Oprah has been asking her pals to donate and in addition to the $10 million her fund STARTED with, she’s already close to DOUBLED that amount in a matter of days…

OPRAH PLANS TO SQUEEZE HER CONNECTIONS TO HELP MAUI

Stand back ! Here she comes… Oprah Winfrey intends to lead the way in fundraising efforts to rebuild Lahaina, Maui, the historic and beloved community all but destroyed by wildfires. According to a friend, not only does Oprah plan on writing her own huge check to the effort, but she’s launching a foundation and will lean on her countless celebrity friends and fellow billionaires to toss in some cash. Early estimates put the damage in the BILLIONS to rebuild Lahaina, but if ANYONE can do it, Oprah can. She’s a major landowner on the Hawaiian Island, with an estate on approximately 2000 acres (!) and it’s been her second home for decades, so she’s dedicated to making it happen.

Will Oprah Winfrey be the next celebrity to move to Las Vegas? Oprah is NOT ditching her Montecito, California home, but she IS thinking about purchasing a $15 million mansion in The Summit, the posh planned community that many other LA celebrities now call home. The reason? NO STATE INCOME TAX. Oprah could save MILLIONS each year if she makes Las Vegas her permanent residence. She travels a lot as it is, so it wouldn’t be too hard for her to spend a majority of her time in Las Vegas.
