Maybe Heather Locklear’s arrest for driving under the influence will finally make her aware of her own state of denial. According to acquaintances, Heather has been abusing prescription painkillers every day for around 20 years. Specifically vicodin. This kind of long term pill popping can easily lead to kidney damage and the need for dialysis. One of her exboyfriends is hooked on the same pills so they had a great time while it lasted. Obviously, Heather’s recent aborted attempt at rehab where she claimed it was for “depression,” didn’t help at all. It makes one rethink the possible causes for her divorce from Richie Sambora. Heather is well liked in Hollywood and everyone hopes she’ll finally get a grip on this problem.

Frankly, we’ve always wondered how pretty Shawn Southwick managed to wake up every day and see Larry King’s face on the next pillow. Now we know. Since she just entered rehab to get a grip on her addiction to painkillers (for migraines) it looks like she was nicely sedated for much of their wedded bliss. Painkillers tend to make it easier to put up with certain things. Just how will Shawn view her May – December marriage after she leaves rehab with clear senses?
