KIM KARDASHIAN DOESN’T MIND IF YOU STARE

One thing we have to admit about Kim Kardashian- she doesn’t pretend to be annoyed by a lot of attention. Some celebrities go out of their way to dodge fans and photographers by wearing sunglasses, hats, and masks – they are horrified by the idea of being noticed. Of course, if everybody totally STOPPED noticing them, they would feel worse. And they enjoy being noticed if it gets them a discount or a good table at a popular restaurant. But back to Kim- she never dresses DOWN or sneaks around trying to avoid paparazzi. She’s flattered and is honest about enjoying the attention – and why not? Kim shopped at Bergdorf Goodman today dressed like THIS, giving everyone an eyeful and something to talk about.

Missing Missing in Action Missing Persons Paparazzi Rob Kardashian

WHAT IS GOING ON WITH ROB KARDASHIAN?

The only male member of the Kardashian clan has been MISSING IN ACTION for years now. And it’s not easy because they are probably the most photographed non-royal family in the world. How does Rob Kardashian stay totally out of the public eye – and more important, WHY? He claims to be devoting his time to his five year old daughter (with Blac Chyna) Dream, but they are never seen together at Kardashian kid-oriented parties or events. Rob managed to testify and come and go from the recent trial (Blac Chyna VS Kardashians) UNSEEN by the packs of paparazzi. (There wasn’t even a court sketch of him!) Did he remove that ever-present baseball cap? While the rest of the family celebrated Kourtney and Travis Barker’s wedding in Italy, Rob was conspicuously absent. Paparazzi NEVER snap him eating out or just leaving his house. We can only assume that he’s not happy with his looks – maybe he’s gained more weight. Or perhaps he’s getting hair transplants – hence, the permanent baseball cap. He seems like a nice guy, here’s hoping he can pull himself together and learn to enjoy his good life.

BAD BUNNY’S TWO DEAD GIVEAWAYS

Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny happens to be a little bit shy about his fame and likes to avoid drawing attention to himself. He attended a Lakers game totally covered up in red sweats, along with Yeezy boots, assuming he could outsmart paparazzi and come and go unnoticed. But he made two mistakes. First, the paparazzi spotted his cute girlfriend Gabriela Berlinger, because they’ve seen her with him before. Observant photogs also noted his habitual sunglasses at night – Bad Bunny’s trademark.

BLAKE LIVELY PROTECTS HER BABIES FROM “MENACING” PAPARAZZI

Blake Lively was very upset by paparazzi who took these photos of her and her kids on the street in New York. She said she tried to calmly approach one guy who would run away and jump out again for more photos on the next block. Blake has a hard time trying to convince paparazzi to leave her kids alone. She asked magazines to “stop paying grown men to hide and hunt children.” Some celebrities feel their children are unsafe if photos are taken – we never understood exactly why. (Can you name any celebrity kids damaged by paparazzi photos?) Blake wants to keep her children off social media until they “come of age.” But we predict her kids will be voluntarily ON social media the MINUTE they are old enough to find out what it is!

KATIE HOLMES IS MORE IRRITATED BY PAPARAZZI THAN HER BOYFRIEND IS

Katie Holmes and her boyfriend Emilio Vitolo Jr are turning the tables on the paparazzi and shooting back at them in New York. The happy couple take a lot of walks in the city and are inevitably interrupted by photographers, so they have little time alone. New York is recovering from a big snowstorm – you can still see big piles of snow on the curb above, next to the bags of trash not picked up. Ironically, in the background you can also see tables and chairs outside an optimistic restaurant hoping for diners in the chilly air.

Angelina Jolie Mask Paparazzi Target Zahara

NO ONE IN TARGET IS LOOKING AT ANGELINA JOLIE

Angelina Jolie is obviously enjoying the anonymity her mask provides, so she didn’t hesitate to take Zahara shopping at Target yesterday (yes, a Saturday!) She usually has a bodyguard keeping a discreet distance somewhere in the background “just in case,” but he doesn’t appear until there are packages to carry. In this situation, the paparazzo stayed out of sight so he wouldn’t reveal his target, and almost no one was aware that THE Angelina Jolie was in their midst. In fact no one was even looking at her. Nice for a change.

Kelly was showing off for photographers, bopping to loud music in the car, and hanging out the window when he got carried away and broke his friend’s windshield!

SUPERMARKETS KEPT PAPARAZZI ALIVE DURING THE PANDEMIC

Before Covid, Hollywood paparazzi had a lot of choices of places to stalk celebrities during the day. Popular shopping areas like Melrose Avenue, Rodeo Drive, or The Grove, were ideal hunting grounds for celebrity hungry paparazzi. Outdoor cafes were easy pickings for a furtive photo. AFTER Covid struck, the only place that everyone went was to the supermarket. Paparazzi staked out the parking lots of all the upscale markets like Bristol Farms, Erewhon, or Gelson’s, and watched for arriving celebrities’ cars. Covid also changed celebrity shopping habits – now that they have to wear masks, celebrities think nothing of going to the market – or anywhere else they might have avoided before, for fear of being recognized. Some LOVE going out incognito, and they don’t have to worry about how they look. It’s more fun shopping in Hollywood now – you never know who that masked person is fondling avocados right next to you! Gwen Stefani enjoyed a supermarket visit this weekend with two of her sons…

CHRISSY TEIGEN’S STORY WITH A HAPPY ENDING

Now HERE’S a pleasant surprise! John Legend’s irrepressible wife Chrissy Teigen and her mom took her children shopping at Kids Couture in West Hollywood and the family immediately attracted some roving paparazzi. The photogs followed her in and out of stores – SOME celebrities would have become belligerent (like Alec Baldwin or perhaps Leonardo DiCaprio) and made a SCENE. But Chrissy remained cool. After shopping, she picked up some pizzas to take home and offered one to the photographers! (They were flabbergasted)

THE PAPARAZZI STILL LOVE MEL GIBSON

Looks like Mel Gibson is doomed to endure pesky paparazzi as long as he has a career in show business. It’s Mel’s own fault – he gets himself tangled up in outrageous situations that tabloids LOVE. Paparazzi are drawn to the temperamental actor/director, and he cannot resist making a huge fuss. Mel is not above making an angry scene in public, yelling at photographers, accusing them of stalking him. Sometimes he turns his smartphone camera on THEM, for some inexplicable reason. We think he should be flattered that the photogs still CARE about him…
