PATRICK DEMPSEY FIGURED OUT HOW TO KEEP HIS WIFE HAPPY

Patrick “McDreamy” Dempsey and his wife Jillian Fink landed at LAX looking relaxed after a tropical vacation where they celebrated their anniversary. Jillian posted an Instagram photo of them kissing on the beach with a sweet love note to her husband “Happy 18th anniversary – through thick and thin …I love you.” “Thin” refers to five years ago when the marriage was in jeopardy and Jillian filed for divorce, but Patrick came to his senses and managed to patch things up. Now they seem happier than ever. They have three kids and Patrick credits his wife for his successful career.

We almost forgot what a good looking family Patrick Dempsey, 50, has – they all showed up for the London premier of Bridget Jones’s Baby. His wife, makeup artist Jillian, filed for divorce last year. When he wasn’t acting on Grey’s Anatomy or whatever, Patrick spent an awful lot of time racing cars. After the split, Patrick decided to put more time and effort into rebuilding his marriage. It worked. The pair has been seen out together a number of times, but this is the family’s first public appearance since Patrick and Jillian reunited. We get the distinct feeling that Patrick Dempsey is more comfortable in an auto repair shop that a hospital. He LOVES his rides. The Grey’s Anatomy doc waited patiently at Heritage Classic repair shop in Beverly Hills while his vintage grey convertible (don’t know what it is) was diagnosed with a top that refused to go up and down.

Grey’s Anatomy doc Patrick Dempsey is working out like a fiend at Easton gym on Beverly Blvd. He’s been seen sweating with his trainer doing cardio and serious weights for two or three hours EVERY afternoon. This is the same no frills old-time gym that Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire work out at and nobody pays any attention. Observers say Dr McDreamy has doubled his workouts and we figure that means he’s getting ready for some kind of skin revealing scene on the show. A hot love scene with Meredith, perhaps?

Fans interested if getting a close-up glimpse of Patrick Dempsey might be advised to hang out at the Belwood Bakery on Barrington at Sunset in West LA at 9:30 or 10 in the morning. It seems Dr McDreamy stops there several days a week for the best coffee in town, along with an occasional muffin. He pulls up in his racing green 1973 E-type vintage Jaguar convertible with the top DOWN. He usually wears a knit hat pulled down low, but when the girls working in nearby shops see his distinctive car out front, they run outside and wave to him and throw kisses as he drives off.

Now that Patrick Dempsey has been dubbed “Dr. McDreamy” he has quite a rep to maintain. HIS sex appeal has viewers gravitating to Grey’s Anatomy and suddenly his own anatomy is being scrutinized . So Patrick is taking no chances. He’s hikng off his holiday calories in Runyon Canyon in Los Angeles. Fans interested in getting a glimpse of the sexy TV doc will have to keep their eyes open for a scruffy guy in sweats with a wool cap pulled down over his head. Of course, it’s also advisable for Patrick to keep in fighting shape just in case his costar Isaiah Washington gets out of hand again.
