DID CHER’S WIGS SABOTAGE HER ROMANCE WITH TOM CRUISE?

#cher #tomcruise #janetcharlton

All this gossip about Tom Cruise and Cher having a secret romance back in the 80’s is way off base. It was NEVER a secret! Cher and Tom were seen necking on a couch at a party at Paul Newman’s house. (Tom and Paul became friendly while filming the 1986 movie “The Color of Money”) Partygoers couldn’t help buzzing. Cher was quite smitten with 16 years younger Tom. After that scene, the paparazzi were all over them and magazines were full of photos of the odd couple while the short romance lasted. We think Cher’s unfortunate choice of wigs damaged the relationship. The top photo was taken at a White House event and features Tom and Cher as well as Bruce Jenner.

DID YOU KNOW PAUL NEWMAN WAS A DECORATED WWII SAILOR?

Some things never go out of style – like Paul Newman’s FACE! The WOW Report dug up these photos of the actor when he was only 18 and in the US Navy. He aspired to becoming a pilot but those luscious lue eyes were unfortunately color blind so he ended up as a gunner. We all know what happened when he got out of the service. This glorious actor died in 2008 but the food company he left behind is still pumping hundreds of millions of dollars into his favorite charities.

PAUL NEWMAN AND HIS COMMON SENSE

Paul Newman:
“I’m a supporter of gay rights. And not a closet supporter either. From the time I was a kid, I have never been able to understand attacks upon the gay community. There are so many qualities that make up a human being… by the time I get through with all the things that I really admire about people, what they do with their private parts is probably so low on the list that it is irrelevant.”

PAUL NEWMAN: WE WON'T FORGET YOU

It’s over. We’ve lost one of the greatest movie stars of our time. He outlived his contemporaries and competitors James Dean, Montgomery Clift, and Marlon Brando, and we never grew tired of him. What made Paul Newman special, aside from his devastating good looks, was his decency and humanity. We will remember his inspiring long term marriage to Joanne Woodward and his sincere charity work, as well as those amazing blue eyes.
