Yikes! Singer/songwriter Pete Doherty was a hot commodity in the 2000’s – he had style and a bad boy reputation. Plus his girlfriend was supermodel Kate Moss and that brought him a lot of credibility. His drug and alcohol abuse landed him in many awkward situations including jail, and his battle with crack and heroin broke up his band Babyshambles. He used to be sexy when he was young but now he looks puffy and debauched in this photo from Cannes It’s not pretty when you’re 33 and over the hill.

Amy Winehouse has found the perfect playmate in Pete Doherty. They both seem to be on the same all-night time schedule and prefer to take their meals at the corner convenience store. Not to mention the fact that both of them are recently out of jail. Pete made a successful comeback with his band Babyshambles on Wednesday night in London. Pogues frontman Shane MacGowan joined the band onstage to sing Dirty Old Town- we’d love to have been there. Afterward and the following night Amy and her new best friend were out on the town, Amy was apparently too distracted to notice that Pete’s fly was open.

We fear that Kate Moss is going to rue the day she allowed boyfriend Pete Doherty to point his videocamera her way. He’s filming a video diary of his own life – at home, on tour with his band Babyshambles, even on the tour bus, supposedly for a documentary. Naturally much of his time with Kate is on film too. Odds are the video will catch some of the drug challenged couple’s very private moments and what’s fun now could become a big embarrassment later. Since Pete sold his personal diaries when he needed money, personal video moments might end up on sale also. And what if they break up? Be careful, Kate.
