PETE DAVIDSON IS IN LOVE WITH A PIGLET

Shopping obviously makes Pete Davidson happy. He and Ariana Grande recently adopted a tiny pet pig that they promptly named “Piggy Smalls.” Keep in mind, Ariana already has four dogs! Her fancy five bedroom apartment building must be very pet friendly – probably has its own dog walking area. It’s lucky that Ariana can afford lots of help – her Piggy probably won’t be house trained until it’s at least a year old. And pet pigs are notorious for becoming MUCH bigger than owners expect! Pete is already so enamored with the animal that he got a pig tattoo. These two DO lead a fun life!

DID WE NEED ANOTHER REASON TO LOVE RYAN GOSLING?

Ryan Gosling has made it clear that he loves his dog George and takes him almost everywhere he goes. He proved himself a TRUE animal lover by writing an editorial in the Globe and Mail newspaper in Canada appealing to the pork industry to improve the treatment of animals in the food supply. Ryan objects to the inhumane practice of keeping pigs in cramped gestation boxes for much of their short lives. It’s nice to see an actor using his power for a good reason. Jessica Simpson’s fiance Eric Johnson has a pet nickname for her that has nothing to do with her size. He calls her “Piglet” – as do many members of her family. It’s not because Jessica eats a lot – she has always had a special affection for pigs – she collects all kinds of stuffed pigs, pictures of pigs, pig books, and bric-a-brac. Her baby shower invitation even featured a pig motif. When Eric calls Jessica “my little piglet” she loves it…

Beckhams David Beckham Pigs Victoria Beckham

THE BECKHAMS HAVE TWO NEW FAMILY MEMBERS

These little mini-pigs are becoming VERY popular and Victoria and David Beckham love to jump on the trend bandwagon early. The Beckhams paid around $2000 for a pair of the piglets (considerably less money than one of Victoria’s handbags costs.) The adorable pigs only weigh around 9 ounces at birth and grow to be about 14 inches tall and up to 65 pounds. The pigs can be housebroken, and will have a comfortable home at the Beckhams sprawling compound outside London. We only hope they’re not forgotten when they grow up.
