Supermodel Kate Moss looks mighty fine on the cover of Playboy’s 60th Anniversary edition coming out in January. One thing irks us, however, and that is the big and unnecessary fuss over Kate’s age. It seems like everyone writing about her cover is amazed by the fact that she turns 40 in January. What’s the big deal about her age? Aren’t we past that? Would someone 20 really look any better on the cover than she does? Give a girl a break…

The young girl in the middle is Isabella Lamas – Shauna’s 12 year old daughter with Lorenzo. The woman on the right is December, 1992 Playmate Barbara Moore, who dated Lorenzo from 2004 to 2005 and they got engaged, but never married. Lorenzo is now married for the fifth time. We bet they have a lot to talk about…
Hugh Hefner’s friends were appalled when he allowed his 26 year old runaway bride Crystal Harris move back into the Playboy mansion earlier this year. They felt she had really humiliated him by jilting him before their highly publicized June 2011 wedding, and he was behaving like a fool. Since he announced plans to reschedule the wedding for New Year’s Eve, they want Hef, 86, to have his head examined! Hefner’s pals feel that after Crystal dumped Hugh, she wised up to the fact that her young boyfriends wouldn’t spoil her like Hef did, and ultimately opted for the money. We’re hoping there were a lot of legal documents drawn up to make sure Crystal doesn’t take advantage of her aging husband.
Hockey champ Wayne Gretzky has been tormented by the fact that his aspiring actress daughter Paulina, now 23, is determined to build a career by posting scantily clad photos of herself online. (She’s following in Courtney Stodden’s footsteps.) He actually shut down her Twitter account at one point when her blatant near nude shots embarrassed him. When she reopened the account she had 162,000 followers, so maybe her scheme is working. She was hired to pose for a sexy layout in Complex magazine (top photo.) If Wayne Gretzky didn’t want his daughter to be a pin up girl, he shouldn’t have married a Playboy centerfold (Janet Jones.)
Now that TMZ has shown you the Lane Garrison video of him fighting with his Playboy girlfriend Ashley Mattingly, you might be wondering WHAT they were fighting about. Ashley had tweeted she was FINISHED with Lane. (Saturday night they were asked to leave the Playboy mansion because they were drunk and sloppy.) When Lane appeared at her apartment building the next day she taunted him with the news that not only was their romance OVER, but she had been cheating on him with a wealthy guy. THAT’S why he tossed her phone away in despair. Lane got mixed up with the wrong girl. Don’t know what will happen to him, but he does deserve some jail time for wearing that awful white hat.

Lane Garrison seems to be digging his own grave as fast as he can by associating with the WRONG people. He’s on parole for his 2007 DUI crime where a passenger was killed and he has served time. He fell for Playboy model Ashley Mattingly who unfortunately LOVES to party and encouraged him to do the same. They’ve been involved in two domestic tiffs – on Saturday she accused Lane of abusing her. His friends can’t imagine him being violent. There IS a tape that might or might not clear Lane. Meanwhile, he’s in jail because he can’t raise $50,000 bail. Ironically Lane’s probation had been scheduled to end in SIX DAYS! Now police say he could go away for life (three strikes.)

We’re pretty sure that Lane Garrison is shaking in his boots after that incident where cops were called to his apartment because he and his Playmate girlfriend were having a tiff. Apparently there was no violence and no charges were filed, but Lane was hospitalized, claiming “anxiety.” Since he is on probation for vehicular manslaughter in 2007 (and he served time) Lane has every reason to be anxious. His friends have been worried because Lane’s girlfriend Ashley Mattingly loves to party and enjoys drama, while Lane has no choice but to remain sober and under the radar. This creates problems and hopefully Lane’s probation will not be revoked.
We were surprised and rather touched to hear that Hugh Hefner has recovered nicely from being jilted at the altar by his 25 year old bride-to-be Crystal Harris in June, but he’s asking for custody of their Cavalier King Charles spaniel Charlie. Hef, 85, told Crystal she could keep the engagement ring (which she already auctioned off at Christie’s for $47,000) and the Bentley he gave her if she would let Charlie stay at the mansion. The Playboy mogul has grown very fond of the pup. Crystal is thinking it over.
Michelle Williams started the trend with her role in “My Weekend With Marilyn” which just might get her an Oscar nomination, or so they say. She does seem to have the tentative sweetness Monroe showed at times. For whatever reason, Lindsay Lohan‘s Playboy layout mirrored Marilyn’s original layout in the magazine with all the modern benefits of photoshopping. The lips are a tad overwhelming. Never one to miss an opportunity, Lady Gaga channeled Monroe just for fun with surprising results the other day in New York.
We had to laugh when Wayne Gretzky got upset about his 22 year old daughter Paulina posted sexy photos of herself on Twitter. Really. What did he expect when he married a playboy cover girl? Wayne didn’t complain when his future wife Janet Jones appeared in a semi-nude layout in Playboy. Janet dabbled in acting and modeling and was known for her amazing body. Paulina apparently inherited a similar physique and similar ambitions. His sons are athletes, did Wayne expect his daughter to become a physicist? Since he still supports Paulina financially, Gretzky talked her into removing the photos, but we’re betting Playboy will make her an offer….
