According to a friend, Meghan feels some of the items she’s worn over the years to special occasions might someday also be worth a fortune. Therefore she’s carefully labeling and storing her clothes in a climate controlled facility for her heirs to sell in the future! From the dress she wore on her record breaking interview with Oprah Winfrey, to the mourning outfit she donned for the Queen’s funeral, fashionista Meghan feels she could be sitting on a king’s ransom in clothing memorabilia.

When the Twilight movies were released, Kristen Stewart was horrified by the level of her popularity. Adoring fans were everywhere and they couldn’t keep their hands off her. She struggled to stay OUT of the limelight. So she must have been just a LITTLE surprised when it was announced that she would star as Princess Diana in a new film called Spencer. Twitter blew up with complaints and insults like “Are the casting people deaf and blind?” and “Melissa McCarthy would be a better choice!” and so on and so on…

ELTON JOHN HAS CONVENIENT MEMORY LAPSES WHEN IT COMES TO PRINCESS DIANA

Gotta disagree with Elton John once again. Elton is irate because UK press pointed out that Prince Harry claims to care about the environment, yet he and Meghan and their baby flew on a private jet to visit Elton’s estate in France. Elton tweeted it was HIS idea to fly private, and blasted the press for disrupting the couple’s “safety and tranquility.” He went so far as to say “Prince Harry’s mother Diana was one of my closest friends and I feel obliged to protect Harry and his family from the unnecessary press intrusion that contributed to Diana’s death!“ Elton has conveniently forgotten that Diana and her boyfriend Dodi Fayed were killed by their own drunk chauffeur who was speeding. The driver worked for Dodi Fayed’s family, and Dodi was famous for courting the press. He liked to tip them off as to where he and Diana would be. In fact, he was SO nice to reporters that he provided me, the gossip columnist for Star Magazine, an expensive lunch for two at the Ritz Hotel in Paris and a Ritz bathrobe to take home, among other gifts. Dodi Fayed’s father felt guilty and embarrassed that HIS drunk driver got Diana and his own son killed, and he dedicated his life to blaming paparazzi. So Elton, wise up!

Conspiracy! Dodi Fayed Drunk Mohamed Fayed Princess Diana

PRINCESS DIANA WAS KILLED BY A COMMON DRUNK DRIVER

We can’t help but laugh at this fuss over so called “new evidence” that Princess Diana was murdered. Alan Power is some guy in England who wrote the book “The Princess Diana Conspiracy” and it’s started the press discussing her 1997 fatal accident all over again. Diana’s boyfriend who died with her was Dodi Fayed and his father Mohammed al Fayed has been desperate to prove that his son had nothing to do with Diana’s death. Dodi, of course, employed the driver who was extremely drunk and driving at twice the speed limit when the accident happened. The new book author claims a British soldier was hired to cause the crash by shining a spotlight in the eyes of Dodi’s driver from the car in front of them, causing the driver to lose control. Silly. Somehow we think Mohammed Fayed is behind this book and maybe paid the writer to try and clear his son’s name. Scotland Yard is not re-opening the case, but “assessing the credibility” of the new claims. (Above, Diana and Dodi in their last elevator ride, leaving the Ritz Hotel that fateful night)

“LOST” STAR NAVEEN ANDREWS PLAYS PRINCESS DIANA’S TRUE LOVE IN “DIANA”

Here’s Naomi Watts on location filming her Princess Diana movie in the UK. The film deals with the last two years of Diana’s life, and centers around her romance with the “love of her life” – nope, it’s not the man she died with, Dodi Fayed. The man Diana called “Mr Wonderful” was a heart surgeon, Dr Hasnet Khan. At the inquest into Diana’s death, Khan testified that he broke off their two year romance a few months before her death. It’s believed he couldn’t bear all the media attention surrounding Diana. Lost star Naveen Andrews is playing Khan and he’s barely recognizable with his conservative haircut.

Kate Middleton dolls (right) are flooding the UK before the royal wedding, and this version can be had for less than $50. It might be a good investment – Princess Diana dolls are selling for up to $600 now. So far the Kate dolls are casually dressed but after a few big events we’ll see gowns and tiaras.

Kim Cattrall got lucky when she was hired to appear at the opening of Harrod’s summer sale. Not only is she handsomely paid, but she gets to shop in the store before the doors are open. One drawback was that she had to put up with Mohamed Fayed whining and complaining that he and his late son Dodi were in no way responsible for Princess Diana’s untimely death – that it was a conspiracy. (Sure, and the conspirators were liquor, drugs, and the macho limo driver.)

William has always looked like his mother Princess Diana, but it appears he got his father Prince Charles’ thinning hair. Lucky Harry inherited is mother’s thick almost unruly hair.
