BREAKING UP WASN’T THAT HARD TO DO FOR LIEV SCHREIBER

Turns out Liev Schreiber is nothing like his questionable character Ray Donovan. He and Naomi Watts have had one of the most civilized break-ups in Hollywood history. The fact that they never actually married certainly made it easier- but after 11 years of togetherness and two kids, Liev and Naomi simply fell out of love. But what’s important is, they never stopped LIKING each other. Liev moved out into a New York apartment close to Naomi and the kids, and they share custody. Liev is often seen out with Kai, 11, and Sasha, 13, – sometimes he brings along his new girlfriend Taylor Neisen. Taylor and Naomi are so friendly that they all lived together for awhile during social isolation. Recently Liev wished Naomi happy birthday by posting a cute photo of her and captioning it “You are the best ex ever!”

Liev Schreiber’s sons may not realize it now, but they seem to have a very cool dad. Liev, 51, not only rides bikes with his sons Alex, 11, and Sam, 10, all over New York, but he takes time for a heart to heart talk when needed. (Above with Sam.) Life is good for the Ray Donovan star – the series just got renewed for the seventh season so Liev is enjoying a steady income. Since 2016, he’s been quietly keeping company with Miss South Dakota, Taylor Neisen, 26, so he’s got a good thing going.

LIEV SCHREIBER DOES HIS OWN HAULING

Liev Schreiber, who plays tough-guy Ray Donovan, apparently doesn’t have staffers to do schlepping for him. He walked from his building to his parking garage in New York with a wagon loaded with items he was taking somewhere for Thanksgiving. His cart was so full he had to stop and rearrange the bags when they fell. He pulled the cart into the garage to load up his car before taking off.

RAY DONOVAN IS SOLVING PROBLEMS IN NEW YORK

Liev Schreiber’s character Ray Donovan is firmly entrenched in New York for season 6 – Ray was filmed getting off a city bus in Times Square today. (And Susan Sarandon is joining the cast as a series regular.) Liev seems to have settled his private life into a good place. The 50 year old actor split with Naomi Watts, 49, in 2016, and they have two young boys. He’s been dating beauty queen Taylor Neisen, 26, (Miss South Dakota) since last year and friends felt bad for Naomi. But now Naomi is happily dating an age appropriate actor, Billy Crudup, 49, – her costar in the new Netflix series Gypsy. So all is well – Liev and Naomi are friendly and spend time together with their kids and dogs.

Showtime likes Liev Schreiber so much that they moved his series from Los Angeles to New York after six successful seasons. Liev was miserable because he had so little time to spend with his children, who live in New York with their mother. He and his longtime partner Naomi Watts split up amicably last year after 11 years together. Naomi is currently dating Billy Crudup. Ray Donovan writers toiled to create a plausible reason for their main character to move to New York. We wonder how the rest of the cast and crew were affected by the move…

And by Hollywood standards, his ten year marriage to Naomi Watts is a long one. They have two sons – Samuel and Alexander – and Liev manages to spend a lot of time with them. Above, he’s walking the boys to school in New York. The fact that he’s not so hard-boiled and has a soft side makes him more appealing.

Ray Donovan star Liev Schreiber is a man who believes in the virtue of bicycles and he has raised his family on wheels. He and his partner (possibly his wife) Naomi Watts, and their two sons, live mostly in New York and have an assortment of bicycles there. They have bikes built for two and bikes with special child seats. Photos of them getting in or out of cars are rare! The family has the same collection of bicycles at their Los Angeles home. And he cares about the environment! 6’3” Liev rode both of his sons, Samuel and Alexander, to school on his bicycle built for three, along with their backpacks and paraphernalia. And he got them there on time.
