WILL KIRSTIE ALLEY REVISIT HOUSE OF PIES ON HER NEW REALITY SHOW?

The reality show that Kirstie Alley has been shopping around found a home at the A&E network. Shooting starts this month and supposedly the show will feature Kirstie’s battle to lose weight, raise her kids, produce a movie, and hunt for a boyfriend. (We can already imagine her on the Plenty of Fish dating site posting an old photo.) We wonder if any of Kirstie’s SECRET activities will be featured on the show. Last July we wrote the following item about Kirstie and it would have made great TV:

“Taco Bell isn’t Kirstie Alley’s only diet enemy. It seems she also has a weakness for House of Pies. Employees at a nearby business have seen Kirstie eating pie in her car in the parking lot of the House of Pies on Vermont. And it’s happened more than once. She bought two or three pies to go, and brought them out to her car and devoured most of them right then and there.“

Antonio Sabato seems to be looking for love on his VH1 series “My Antonio,” but the “lucky” girl who wins him (and his opinionated mother) over, might be disappointed. There’s no way Antonio will find his perfect match because he‘s already signed up for season 2! Antonio admitted to a friend that although he chose a winner, he didn’t really click with anyone this season. He’s asking for “hotter girls” next season and maybe then sparks will fly.

“Millionaire Matchmaker” Patti Stanger is going to be annoyed to hear that one of her prize millionaires escaped her clutches and found his own fiancee. Online entrepreneur (RipLounge.com) Andrew Stern appeared on her Bravo show on season 2 looking for a tall Jewish girl and Patti tried, but couldn’t find the right partner for him. Andrew met another reality star, Katie Cleary (“America’s Next Top Model” season 1) and fell in love. Katie spent 3 years as briefcase #11 on “Deal or No Deal” and she and Andrew both love animals and foster displaced pets. They just got engaged during a trip to Venice, Italy.

Now HERE are the Jacksons we rarely saw before Michael Jackson died, and the brothers look better than ever. Marlon, Jackie, and Tito had lunch in Calabasas and the whole thing was filmed for their reality show “The Jackson Dynasty.” These brothers have been trying for years to get a reality show and finally got their wish. The show will reveal the private lives of the remaining Jackson Five – Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, and Marlon. (Jermaine was in Glasgow with LaToya when this segment was filmed.) Tito says “We’ve had cameras following us all our lives.” Somehow we can’t imagine the paparazzi stalking Tito – until now, perhaps.

Las Vegas based model Michael Evers is already a mini-celebrity in Sin City – he’s appeared on billboards promoting Planet Hollywood’s Krave nightclub where he’s a featured performer. Now he’s been cast in a reality show that’s being described as “The Hills” meets Las Vegas. It’s Called “The Strip” and will follow a group of eight hot looking 18 to 25 year olds (including a Hard Rock cocktail waitress and a valet from the Bellagio) as they struggle and seek success in the gambling mecca. Making it in Las Vegas is not as easy as it used to be.

JERRY SEINFELD IS NOW AN EXPERT ON MARRIED LIFE

Jerry Seinfeld and his wife Jessica were strolling in Tribeca when they turned a corner and ran smack into the location set of Jennifer Lopez’s movie “The Back-up Plan.” Jerry has plans of his own – he’s in the process of returning to NBC as a producer on the reality show “The Marriage Ref” which is currently casting across America for couples who have complaints about each other. Various celebrities and comics will comment on their disputes and judge who’s right. Jerry was the expert on singles living in New York on “Seinfeld,” and now that he’s married he has new interests.

KENDRA WILKINSON VS THE REAL WORLD

Kendra Wilkinson never felt bad about leaving the Playboy mansion and “The Girls Next Door” because she knew she was getting her own show on E! this fall. The “tomboy” of Hef’s original three blondes, Kendra’s show will be all about how she adjusts to living a somewhat normal life, without the staff and perks of the Playboy mansion. She has set up housekeeping with her football player boyfriend Hank Baskett. We used to hear that Hef spent many thousands of dollars a month on hairdressers to keep his girls blonde with abundant extensions. Since E! doesn’t pay for much, this service might be the one that Kendra misses most.

It's RuPaul on the left looking like quite a man, in contrast to a more frivolous moment on the right. RuPaul’s Drag Race is debuting tonight (Monday) at 10 pm on MTV’s LOGO channel which is #146 on Time Warner Cable. It’s a drag reality contest with Project Runway’s infamous Santino Rice and our good friend Merle Ginsberg as judges. Don’t miss it – we hear it’s a scream.

Janet Jackson is in London and she’s been seen partying with Prince Azim of Brunei at Mahiki nightclub.. The generous prince has been known to give performers he admires gifts worth millions. Surprisingly, Janet flew into town because she supposedly agreed to appear on the finale of the Celebrity Big Brother show there. Janet’s sister LaToya was on the show and got kicked off last week. This is unexpected because usually Janet keeps her distance from her siblings’ antics. Maybe Janet’s split with Jermaine Dupri has something to do with her newfound sisterly love.

The new year is starting off right, - VH1 is premiering “Confessions of a Teen Idol” and we can hardly wait. (Above we have Christopher Atkins and Baywatch’s David Chokachi in their prime.) Leave it to VH1 to take a group of egocentric former teen idols of the 80’s and 90’s and put them together in a house so they can ruminate all their career mistakes and drug misadventures. We’re particularly interested in Christopher Atkins from Blue Lagoon fame. Chris was on top of the world and now he’s digging ditches for a pool company. The drama, meltdowns, and fun, starts January 4.

WHY DEMI MOORE IS PURSUING MICHAEL PHELPS

The mystery is solved. When Demi Moore was seen out with Michael Phelps there was a lot of supposition and speculation. Some wags went as far as to say that she was trading in Ashton for a new younger model. Actually, Demi was turning on the charm to coax Phelps into doing a reality show which she and Ashton will produce. The Enquirer revealed that after meeting Michael at the VMA’s, Demi invited him for drinks at the Chateau Marmont to talk him into doing the show. She and Ashton had him to their home for dinner to convince him that he, too, can be a Hollywood star. The show will feature the 23 year old swim hero at home enjoying his newfound fame and success. Phelps still has reservations, but the Kutchers are already shopping the concept to networks

Those secondary Jacksons are desperate to drum up publicity for themselves, so they’ve just moved into a rented summer home in a tiny coastal village in the UK where the locals are THRILLED out of their minds to have the famous family in residence. (Even if Michael and Janet aren’t included.) Tito and Jackie moved into the relatively modest five bedroom house in the village of Appledore, and residents there gave them a warm reception. The fish n’ chip shop had a party for them, and a reporter interviewed them. Mom Katherine arrived to add to the excitement and Jackie and Tito are, of course, filming everything for a reality show. At last, they’re learning the joys of being big fish in a little pond, instead of the opposite in LA.

PARIS HILTON IS ON THE PROWL FOR A BEST FRIEND AND GETTING PAID FOR IT

It appears that Paris Hilton is having a happy shopping day with her sister and mother at the Nanette Lepore shop on Robertson. But looks are deceiving because she is actually fliming footage for her new MTV reality show, possibly titled “My New BFF.” As usual, Paris is in the company of her mother and sister because she has no female friends. Girls that Paris would LIKE to pal around with, want nothing to do with the boyfriend-stealing prevaricator. So maybe she’ll find one on this TV show.

PAMELA ANDERSON AND DENISE RICHARDS: THE BLONDE LEADING THE BLONDE

Denise Richards has turned to her pal Pamela Anderson for advice regarding her new reality TV show. This is the show Denise’s exhusband Charlie Sheen didn’t want their daughters to do, but he couldn’t stop them. Pam and Denise became friendly while filming the movie “Blonde and Blonder” (which went straight to video) and Denise is hopeful that the series will show her in a good light and help her find Mr Right. Denise has been calling Pam for help in choosing wardrobe etc, but Pam isn’t giving any advice about men – she says “I’m the LAST one you should ask for that.”

VICTORIA BECKHAM: IS THIS REALLY YOUR LIFE?

If this photo is any indication, we’re not sure that Victoria Beckham’s Coming to America reality show has much chance of returning after the first special next week. Did we say reality? Apparently NBC felt a ladies luncheon in which Victoria is introduced to Beverly Hills wives and socialites would make fascinating viewing. Frankly, we didn’t think many genuine “socialites” would consider appearing on reality TV – remember Tom and Katie Cruise wanted nothing to do with the show. Suzan Hughes, the third wife of Mark Hughes, the founder of Herbalife who died in 2000, hosted the party above. The only face we’re sure of is Marla Maples on the left. Apparently NBC is waiting to see how the Beckham’s first and only show does before they commit to any more episodes.

HULK HOGAN AND FAMILY: ONE MORE CHANCE

Brooke Hogan is relieved that her family’s reality show Hogan Knows Best will continue for another season. She has one more chance to keep her family together. Friends say she knows her parents aren’t getting along and she admits the only time the too-tan too-blond family has fun together is when they’re doing the TV show. She figures her parents will put any kind of separation on hold while the show is taping and just maybe, they’ll reconsider. There was doubt about the series continuing because Brooke is now so busy with music appearances and Hulk is traveling a lot for his wrestling career. The Enquirer claims Hulk has already had a meeting with a divorce lawyer but nothing has changed yet.

MIKE TYSON CAN'T DANCE

Mike Tyson is thrilled because he’s getting his own reality show. He has some very important people behind this and they’re tweaking concepts to figure out to best one for Mike. They might do a show about finding him a wife or a show about him struggling with sobriety. One thing it WON’T be about is boxing – viewers haven’t embraced reality boxing shows. Mike is particularly happy about his new series because he had been hoping to appear on Dancing with the Stars but was turned DOWN because of his prison record.

Looks like Charlie O’Connell is a bachelor again. At least he’s acting like one. When Bachelor Charlie selected Texas nurse Sarah Brice on the show last season he told her ” “I love everything about you and to me you’re perfect. ” Right. Sarah moved to LA and they were supposedly living together. They were last seen as a couple in March, walking on Robertson Blvd. Recently he’s been seen out and about with his buddies. Thursday night he and his friends made the scene at Bella Cucina on Hollywood Blvd and later at Le Deux. Charlie and a pal table-hopped, flirting and chatting up pretty girls, indicating that to nobody’s surprise, The Bachelor is on the prowl again.
