WHAT DID RENEE ZELLWEGER DO TO DESERVE THIS?

Calling Renee Zellweger “unrecognizable” at a recent appearance in New York (above) is both ridiculous and insulting. As far as we can surmise, the “unrecognizable” word was used first by the UK’s Daily Mail and American media followed suit. If you really look at Renee’s photos they are far from startling, and do not indicate any radical plastic surgery. Poor Renee apparently showed up at a time when there was a shortage of gossip and EVERYBOY copied each other with the “story.” Renee happens to be one of the nicest and least pretentious actresses around – what happened to everybody’s MANNERS? She looks fine – and natural. Talking about plastic surgery is fun – but cruel comments about women are just WRONG.

“DANCING WITH THE STARS” IS NOT RENEE ZELLWEGER’S IDEA OF A GOOD TIME

We’re not sure if “Dancing With The Stars” is really contemplating having nothing but Oscar winners compete for an upcoming season. It IS, after all, a brilliant idea because there are too many unknowns on the shows recently. However the rumor that Renee Zellweger was their #1 choice IS far-fetched. Yes, she can dance, (see “Chicago” photo above with Richard Gere) ) but Renee is known for being extremely SHY and reserved. She prefers to be OUT of the spotlight so we doubt that DWTS is in hot pursuit. But certainly there ARE a lot of Oscar winners who could really use a career boost about now and would love to take a spin on the dancefloor.

RENEE ZELLWEGER HAD A BRIDGET JONES MOMENT ON THE OSCARS

There was considerable discussion about WHAT Renee Zellweger was ON that caused her to fidget onstage when she was lined up with several presenters on The Oscars. Twice she was handed THE ENVELOPE to announce the winner, and both times she looked stricken and awkwardly passed it on to another presenter. We think she simply refuses to wear reading glasses. She was able to read the prompter at a distance, but up close – NO WAY – so she handed the envelopes to someone who would read them right. She’s 43 now, and like Bridget Jones, maybe she doesn’t like to be reminded of it. Her gold dress DID look rather spectacular.

Bradley’s career is blossoming – did his ego expand to fast? Did his “friendship” with Jessica Biel, also recently single, accelerate the split? We do feel bad for Renee, who tried so hard – maybe too hard.
