Here they are hanging out in the Yankee dugout before Saturday’s game at Citi Field in Flushing, New York. Homer has met most of the Yankee players. Gere says he hardly sees any movies any more because he’s rather spend that time with his family.

After all these years, Buddhist Richard Gere has not stopped fighting for Tibet at every opportunity he gets. He’s in Washington now lobbying congress to support Tibet on the 50th anniversary of the uprising in which the Dalai Lama escaped to India. Gere is hoping that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, despite her commitment to trade with China, will understand the importance of his cause.

He’s still hot and he looks like a very happy family man on vacation in Saint-Barthelemy with his wife Carey Lowell and his 8 year old son Homer. (Did you know Richard’s middle name is Tiffany? No, he wasn’t named after the jewelry store- that’s his mother’s maiden name.)

Diane Lane is in New York promoting “Nights In Rodanthe” and it’s a movie she can be proud of. Diane has a legion of female fans who love her romantic movies like “Under the Tuscan Sun” and “Unfaithful.” She and Richard Gere live up to all the sentimental expectations in Rodanthe. They first costarred in “The Cotton Club” 24 years ago. As one reviewer said “It’s nice to see two good looking mature faces that haven’t been carved up.”

Here she is on a recent vacation in Hawaii – it’s Access Hollywood’s Nancy O’Dell and as you can see, she’s quite a bombshell when she peels off those red carpet gowns. Married to Keith Zubchevich for just a year, Nancy recently confided “I used to flirt with guys, but now I don’t – unless it’s Richard Gere. Keith doesn’t mind – because he (Gere) is old and wrinkley.” We’re still trying to figure out if this was an insult or a compliment.
