It’s date night at Il Sole. That renowned filet of sole is a huge draw for the Sunset Strip restaurant. Jane Fonda and her boyfriend music producer Richard Perry are still a very hot mature couple – Jane feely admits she’s in love with Richard and despite the fact that they’ve been caught necking in a parking lot, there are no marriage plans. They had dinner with one of our favorite couples – Rod Stewart and his towering third wife Penny Lancaster. (Before he hooked up with Penny, Rod vowed “I won’t get married again – I’ll just find a woman I don’t like and give her a house!”

It happened in 2000: One of Whitney Houston’s alltime favorite movies has always been the tearjerker “Love Story.” She’s hoping to update and remake the move starring herself and her husband Bobby Brown as the doomed couple originally played by Ali MacGraw and Ryan O’Neal. Whitney realizes audiences might have a hard time swallowing Bobby as the wealthy and refined young man so she plans to switch the roles and have the female character from the right side of the tracks. She’s already working on a script and hopes to start filming before the end of the year. (As we all know, it didn’t work out….)
