Rita Ora, the 23 year old Albanian born British singer, seems to have become a celebrity overnight but she’s got staying power as this photo demonstrates. More important than her music is the fact that she has friends in the right places and a fine tuned sense of fashion. In other words, she’s adorable most of the time. SHE is the girl who broke Rob Kardashian’s heart and sent him into a tailspin of depression and eating. Rita doesn’t want a relationship – she just wants to have fun, and she DOES. Love the silver dress combined with platform high-tops. She’s in New York promoting a new DKNY fragrance.

We actually felt bad for Rob Kardashian this weekend. He’s been suffering from depression and possibly other problems, but he dutifully pulled himself together and flew all the way to Paris for his sister’s wedding. But before any of the festivities started, he turned around and flew back to LA! It’s rumored that he was immediately disgusted by the vulgar display of wealth and arrogance involved in the wedding preparations. He bailed on the entire weekend and flew home alone. If that’s really how he felt, Rob just became our favorite Kardashian!

Every year, Madonna likes to sign up the current “it girl” as the face of her Material Girl fashion collection featured in Macy’s. The first one was Taylor Momsen with the eyeliner, followed by Kelly Osbourne with the lavender hair, and Georgia May Jagger with the lips. This year Lourdes suggested British singer Rita Ora (Yes, the one who blithely broke Rob Kardashian’s heart and caused him to gain all that weight!) It’s a good deal for Rita – she’s earning $500,000 and her billboards will be all over the USA, where she needs more exposure. Poor Rob.

Talk about unexpected hook-ups. Rob Kardashian’s ego may never be the same. He tweeted his outrage when he accused his “girlfriend” singer Rita Ora of cheating with “20 dudes” recently. We didn’t know who any of the cheating partners were until now. Us magazine says that Rob was particularly incensed when he heard that Rita had picked up “Moneyball” star Jonah Hill at a bar in New York and they went home together. THAT was the last straw for their romance. Rita insists she never had a real relationship with Rob and prefers to play the field. Rob, who considers himself quite a catch, is probably still IN SHOCK.

Hold on! We actually have something POSITIVE to post regarding the Kardashian family! One of them has come to his senses and opted to get an education! Rob was runner-up on “Dancing With the Stars,” and we feared that would be the highlight of his life. But he’s put aside the usual Kardashian options of fame cultivating and name-selling, and tweeted that he has registered at USC this fall to earn a law degree. Rob graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 2009 and just drifted since then. He’s following in his father’s successful, but not-so-glorious footsteps, thanks to his defense of OJ Simpson. This is the first good news we’ve had from the Kardashian Kamp in quite awhile. Nice work, Rob.

One last thought about last night’s Dancing With The Stars: Ricki Lake was ROBBED. We were afraid that the Kardashians’ combined 24 million Twitter followers would make sure that Rob won no matter what. Luckily, JR Martinez, who seemed to be the choice of most Americans, actually DID win. If Rob had won he would always have had that black cloud of “cheating” hanging over him. Sure, he became a good dancer (and he has a great smile,) but Ricki Lake was far better. SHE’S the one who fell victim to Rob’s family packing the ballot box. She’ll have to console herself with that.

Playgirl gave up the pretense of being aimed at women who like to look at naked men a long time ago – now the magazine is full-out directed at the gay “hot studs” audience. The publication seems rather desperate for publicity because they keep making extravagant offers to B list celebrities to take it all off, knowing in advance what the answer is. Jon Gosselin was insulted by their $20,000 offer and Jersey Shore’s Vinny turned up his nose at $30,000. The magazine supposedly offered Glee’s Mark Salling $100,000 – only because they were sure he’d turn it down. We wonder what Kim’s brother Rob Kardashian thought about his $45,000 offer – and whether his agent/mom Kris tried to get a better deal. Nobody really knows how much Levi Johnston was actually paid for his semi-nudes because both sides exaggerate.
