Guy Ritchie looks like he’s making a comeback. His RocknRolla was surprisingly entertaining, and now he’s filming Sherlock Holmes with Robert Downey Jr in the title role. Robert’s clothing makes him look less stuffy than the usual Holmes, and rather modern in a neo-romantic way. This photo was taken at a London location. Rachel McAdams is costarring with Jude Law as Dr Watson. Oh, and Mark Strong, that good looking guy who played Archie in RocknRolla is in it too.

Madonna was very careful to step back and let Guy Ritchie chat with the press at the London premier of his new movie RocknRolla. She’s looks like she’s wearing her heavy stage makeup and that red string to repel bad reviews. Guy looks cute, but rather nervous. He must be mighty pleased with himself for signing Robert Downey Jr to star in his upcoming Sherlock Holmes movie. Downey can do no wrong these days and has never been more popular.

Can't BELIEVE it's been 10 years since Guy Ritchie did “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels” and we fell in love with British gangsters. (We were also mad about “The Krays”) Here’s a trailer for Guy’s new gangster epic “RocknRolla” and we hope there are no hidden Kabbalah messages. Actually it looks like fun, even if Vinnie Jones isn’t in it. Check out the trailer.

  • It happened in 2000: One of Whitney Houston’s alltime favorite movies has always been the tearjerker “Love Story.” She’s hoping to update and remake the move starring herself and her husband Bobby Brown as the doomed couple originally played by Ali MacGraw and Ryan O’Neal. Whitney realizes audiences might have a hard time swallowing Bobby as the wealthy and refined young man so she plans to switch the roles and have the female character from the right side of the tracks. She’s already working on a script and hopes to start filming before the end of the year. (As we all know, it didn’t work out….)
