Rod Stewart may be 74 years old, but he’s still a knockout of a rock star! Rod and his wife Penny attended the black tie Vanity Fair Climate Exchange Gala and he proved that he’s still a DANDY, after all these years. (We appreciate men who try harder) This father of eight just announced his 2019 UK tour promoting his latest album Blood Red Roses.

Rod Stewart, 71, is in the middle of an arena world tour with his 29 year old daughter Ruby (with supermodel Kelly Emberg) and they are having the best time. Ruby sings with partner Alyssa Bonagura in a folk rock duo, The Sisterhood, and Rod raves that she’s incredibly talented – like Janis Joplin. Like Mick Jagger, Rod has eight children with assorted mothers and says he appreciates them more now that he’s older. At least one of his offspring is now working.

Hate to say it, but Rod Stewart’s spawn Sean Stewart is probably what people think of when they imagine pampered kids of celebrities. When he was younger he aspired to being a model or develop his own record label. But he’s 35 now and the most he’s done is appear on reality shows like Celebrity Rehab and Stewarts & Hamiltons. He still goes clubbing, but never looks too happy about it. He even seems a little dazed and bored getting his mani-pedi done in Beverly Hills.

Alana Stewart was married to both Rod and George, you might recall. Roderick Stewart, 70, may LOOK like a man of leisure, but he’s currently performing in Las Vegas at Caesar’s Palace several times a week. The dapper rock star even looks good running errands at a Beverly Hills hobby shop. Forty years ago, thrifty Rod moved to Los Angeles to avoid the higher taxes in the UK, but he recently bought another home outside London and plans to raise his two young sons with Penny Lancaster in both countries.

At least Rod Stewart, 69, has a sense of humor about the height difference between him and his wife Penny Lancaster, 43. He squatted down so he’d look even shorter in this photo to amuse the paparazzi. Supposedly there is only a three inch height difference between Rod and Penny (she’s 6’1” and he’s 5’10”) but her heels make a difference. Rod, who has eight children, (two boys with Penny) is currently performing at Caesar’s palace in Las Vegas through February.

Rod Stewart and his wife Penny Lancaster and their little dog had a relaxing lunch al fresco at a local café and enjoyed the warm weather. Rod looks like he’s dressed to play tennis. He was probably amused to hear that a robber wearing a Rod Stewart mask (who knew there was such a thing?) attempted to hold up a discount store in the UK. The clerk shrieked when she saw the mask and the gun and the crook panicked and ran away. He was later caught.

Rod Stewart turned 69 tonight accompanied his wife Penny Lancaster as well as three of his eight children (with four different women.) Kimberly, Sean and Ruby celebrated with Rod at a Sunset Strip restaurant. He brought his own bottle of special wine. He still has an admirable head of hair, but is he getting SHORTER?

We knew that Rod Stewart’s wife Penny Lancaster was taller than him, (6’1”) but this is ridiculous! She’s not even wearing platforms! This picture is not photoshopped, it’s just shot at an amazing angle and nattily dressed Rod looks diminutive. (He claims to be 5’11.”) The unlikely pair were on their way into 34 Restaurant in London. We wonder if Rod will see the humor in this.

We can’t help wondering WHY Kimberly Stewart, 31, and Benicio Del Toro, 44, chose to have a baby together. Their fling was very brief (maybe even a one night stand) and neither seemed the slightest bit fazed by her pregnancy. Their baby daughter was born this weekend and Kim’s daddy Rod Stewart and wife Penny Lancaster and Kim’s mom Alana Stewart were at the hospital, but no Benicio. He has stated that he is committed to supporting the baby. But why would Kimberly cut short her fun single life to have a baby with a man she doesn’t even date? Benicio has always frowned on the idea of marriage and recoiled at the thought of a wife and kids invading his West Hollywood apartment. Not a match made in heaven, but he DOES have an Oscar.
